Yesssss!!! It's Friday and that means a fun NEW album is in the shop. Today's scrapbook is called Summer Lovin' and it's all about sunshine, warm days, the pool, backyard fun, BBQs, the beach, and great memories with friends and family.
I designed this with the Simple Stories, Summer Lovin' Collection and a 6"x8" navy blue binder. I love the cover. It has all the earmarks of the sunny season ahead. The swimsuits, beach chair, umbrella & backyard pool are perfect ... and that yellow gingham print feels like a pretty picnic blanket!
Inside the cover, the first page is your summer bucket list. Perfect for documenting all the places you want to go, people you want to see and activities you want to do. Sounds fun ... let the planning begin!
Next is a wonderful folding page. I love the rainbow colored saying on the fold-out. It's true for most people but mine should say "the burn will fade" ... not the tan. Lol! Oh, and check out that gorgeous flower print!
Inside the folding page looks like this. You have tons of space for photos and journaling. And that pretty flower paper is another folding card! The whole album actually has room for 65 photos. Yeah ... whoa!
I always include a pocket so you can save extra photos, your favorite summer recipe, a postcard, brochures from a fun activity, tickets from a concert or festival, or a small map from a nature filled adventure!
This would make a great keepsake for photos from a neighborhood BBQ, family
gatherings, picnics in the park, backyard parties, or a day at the ballgame.
What about pictures of the littles having fun outside, riding bikes, selling lemonade, playing games, or sharing popsicles with a friend?
Need more summer vibes? How about a trip to the beach or a day of boating, tubing or fishing? If you're more inland, then take photos of a hike, kayaking or tubing down a lazy river.
Not outdoorsy? Try an afternoon of antique shopping, lunch with the girls, a spa day or a visit to a museum!
Use this scrapbook for a summer vacation, an island trip or a cruise. With all the cheerful colors, it's sure to highlight your happiest moments beautifully!
My Summer Lovin' album will have you excited for the season! And just a side note ... am I the only one that thinks of the song Summer Nights from Grease when I read the words summer lovin'? Oh, I might be aging myself, lol!
