Hey guys! Today, I’m excited to be sharing
my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. Since I grew up in Florida,
anything theme park related makes me think of Disney World. So, when I was deciding
what to create, a mini album shaped like mouse ears seemed like a no-brianer!
I used my Silhouette Cameo machine
to create the mouse ears design and to cut it out of black cardstock. I made 6
double-sided pages and then had fun decorating them with Doodlebug’s, Fun At The
Park collection. When I was finished with the design, I used my Cinch tool to
bind it all together. (Product links below.)
I took advantage of every little space, including the ears. I mimicked the round shape with an adorable balloon die cut and a circular mat for a photo or journaling. I used a 3.5” scalloped circle and 3” circle punch for this.
Don’t forget the parade and evening
light display! These fireworks die cuts are amazing and I love layering the
different sizes. They’re from the new Bits and Pieces, as are most of the die
cuts throughout the album.
Never underestimate the space in a mini,
lol! I was able to fit 5 photo mats, a circle piece for journaling, that
adorable car die cut and lots of cute embellishments on the two pages above!
Here’s what this little cutie looks
like closed. I loved using iconic Disney themes for the cover - the mouse ears,
the red and white polka dots and the castle. Perfect.💗
Update: I
have added the instructions for this album and a custom acrylic mouse
shaped album to my shop so that you can replicate this mini very easily!
