Hello friends! Today's new album is called Homemade Memories and it's a fresh take on the autumn theme. Instead of the usual earthy fall colors, this one uses lighter colors of sage, mint, berry and cream. It's filled with homey images of apples, baskets, baking items, sweater prints, plaids and beautiful flowers. I love it.
The album is 8.5" x 6.5" and I designed it with a collection called Apple Season. It's by a company called Mintay Papers. I just found them out of Poland and they describe their collections as warm, cozy, and full of details. They are inspired by nature,
beautiful old buildings, doors, interiors, windows, and ... even
fashion.
I can see lots of wonderful photos of family and friends tucked safely on these pages. Fall photos would be beautiful but it also works for simple, everyday moments.
This collection is very detailed. Look at the little die cuts on this page ... that tiny strawberry print on the clipboard, the metal clips, and those apples. Wow!
With the new season comes cooler weather, cozy sweaters, and the smell of a wood burning fireplace in the evening. I'm looking forward to having friends over, using the backyard fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sipping apple cider. Those are great memories for this album.
Use this for pictures from an afternoon picking apples, baking in the kitchen, having dinner with friends and enjoying a good bottle of wine. Sound wonderful, just don't forget to take pictures!
This would also make a beautiful handmade gift. Perfect for a birthday, Christmas or as a hostess gift for the next dinner party you attend or Thanksgiving. Now there's a great idea!
I hope you have fun with my new "Homemade Memories" Album. Thanks for stopping by!
Update: The album kit has sold out but I've added the links for the Instructions and the products used below. My instructions are simple, step-by-step and include measurements and full color photos of each page. Happy scrappin'!
