12x12 Creepy Halloween Scrapbook Layout Kit

Hey guys! Last month, I made a tombstone shaped Halloween mini album titled Stay Spooky that used a fabulous PhotoPlay collection. It sold out quickly (thanks everyone!) and I had extra supplies, so ... I thought I'd create a layout kit for all my 12x12 scrappers. It's titled Creepy Halloween and it's wonderfully wicked!

I used the PhotoPlay, Creepin' It Real Collection by Traci Smith and I love it! I love the dark teal blue mixed with the traditional orange and black. I love the delicate pretty flowers along side the skeleton bones. And I really love the ghosts covered in floral sheets, lol! It's all so good. 

These 4 scrapbook pages include 2 flippies, 1 pocket, and space for 22 photos. They're great multi-photo pages for your scary, or ... not so scary Halloween memories!

The pocket has some really cool journaling cards / photo mats but you could also add small memorabilia to it, like ... movie stubs, tickets to a carnival or Fright Night, or a rather ghoulish holiday recipe.

The close-up on the page above shows how good the colors are. The blue is great, right?! And I love the little "Hey Boo" ghost flippie. 👻

This kit will take the guesswork out of knowing what to do with your Halloween photos. I've taken care of the design, supplies, measuring, and cutting so you ... can do the fun part! Simply assemble and add your spooktacular memories.

I've even added a little lined journaling spot. I tucked it inside the flippie on this page so you can document the date/year, the location, the event, or names of people.

Holly Jolly Days Christmas Scrapbook Album

Holly Jolly Days Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with a 8.25" x 8.75" Graphic 45 Interactive Binder Album and the wonderful Simple Stories, Snow Pine Lodge Collection. I love this line. There are lots of pretty poinsettia flowers, snowflakes, holly, a snowman, reindeer, winter trees, cozy cabins, and joyful phrases.

It also has a cheerful color palette of green, red, golden yellow, and my favorite ... pink! On the cover, I added the eye-catching title card, festive stickers, enamel dots, and a big beautiful gingham bow.

Inside the front cover is a pretty paper covered in holly leaves and berries. I added a red poinsettia and a cute circular journaling piece that's perfect for the date, names, or location.

The album has 16 pages that include 7 pockets, 4 fold-out pages, several flippies, and space for 50+ photos.

I love this pocket. The poinsettia flowers are so colorful & the little "be merry" sticker matches them perfectly.

The cards inside each pocket are great for journaling or to use as photo mats for your pictures. I included some blank ones and added festive stickers or die cuts to them.

Here's a fun fold-out page. On the front, a cute pink (although it looks peach in the photo) journaling card for "making a list and checking it twice"!  Open that, and there's 4 photo mats inside with a chilly winter scene.

This album is perfect for photos of fun in the snow, decorating the Christmas tree, a holiday show, a pretty light display, your home, baking Christmas cookies, a school or church event, making a gingerbread house, a party, family gatherings, caroling with friends, gifts, and Christmas day!

Maybe you're traveling on a vacation for Christmas, going skiing, renting a cabin in the mountains, or visiting family. Be sure to take photos, then document those memories here.

Don't forget to save all the bits and pieces of memorabilia that you gather throughout the season. The pockets are great for storing a favorite holiday recipe, a letter to Santa, tickets to an event, a room key, a program from a church event, the tag from a gift, or special Christmas cards.

Halloween Wallet Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hi guys! It's time for my next Doodlebug Design Team Project and today, I have a Trick or Treat wallet shaped mini album that's perfect for holiday photos. It's super interactive with lots of flaps, fold-outs, and pockets inside, AND ... it would make THE cutest little handmade gift for someone. Just look at those fun papers and colors! I love this project and think it's a really creative way to save your favorite Halloween photos. 🎃

I created this with the fantastic Hey Pumpkin Collection and a Lori Whitlock cutting file called Wallet Mini Album (links below). I cut the base out of black cardstock and covered it in 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers. I love how the bright citrus colors look against the dark background ... especially the candy print on the front!

For the front flap, I punched a 2" scallop circle out of black paper, added the Trick or Treat die cut piece from the Chit Chat, and glued a tiny flat magnet underneath.

Inside, there's a gorgeous plaid paper and a cute "spooky" die cut. On the bottom, I used a more die cuts from the Odds & Ends, then added a second magnet behind them so the album stays together when closed.

Ok, here's where the mini album gets really interesting! In the center, there are 2 tri-folds that open to the left and the right. I added the 3x4 inch card on the left side and I love the little witch with her cute glasses!

Here's what the tri-fold looks like opened. I added more fun papers and die cuts to each little section. Wouldn't this be great filled with your October memories?

Did you notice the puffy icon star stickers? A little shine and a bit of dimension ... perfect for adding more interest to the pages.

For the tri-fold on the right, I matched the patterned papers but changed up the die cuts. I added a stack of books with a candle on top to this one. If you look closely, you'll see I added a mini jewel to the🔥.

Look how cute all of these colors and patterns look together! Behind the tri-folds is a 4x6 inch photo mat for your favorite picture of the pumpkin patch, a Halloween party, fabulous costumes, or trick-or-treating.

At the bottom, there are 2 little pockets with journaling cards / photo mats inside. You could add small pictures, tickets to a holiday event, or journal about the fun! On the front of the pockets, I added 2 puffy icon bat stickers. I love their sweet little smiles!

My Trick or Treat wallet shaped mini album looks so festive sitting out using my clear Acrylic Display Stand. I love these and have them all over my house showing off all my holiday projects. Love them!

I designed this with a cupcake pink binder album and Doodlebug's, Bundle Of Joy Collection. It's filled with adorable images of rainbows, animals, hearts, toys, clouds, flowers, and lots of baby supplies.

Check out the cute cover with it's soft feminine colors, pretty flowers, and little toy train with enamel dots. For both albums, I created the titles with two cut files, then finished them off with a bit of crocheted lace.

Inside, there are 44 scrapbook pages that include 4 pocket pages, 2 fold-out pages, 7 flippies, and space for 75+ photos. Now that's a lot of memories!

I also added cards for journaling so you can document important dates, info, and milestones. Be sure to write about their birth, the nursery, hair color, first real food, favorite toys, first haircut, first steps, and why you chose their name.

Pocket pages are great for saving memorabilia that you've collected, like ... greeting cards, hospital bracelets, footprints, or first immunization records. Or, use this space to save journaling cards and extra photos.

I designed this one with a mint binder album and Doodlebug's, Special Delivery Collection. It's filled with cute images of bears, stars, trains, lions, baby supplies, buttons, and clouds. 

Look how packed the albums are! So many fun pages. There are also 5 chipboard tab dividers so you can create sections if you'd like. You could even use these scrapbooks to document a pregnancy!

FREE Home Sweet Home Mini Album Instructions

Thirteen years ago, I started Artsy Albums and I'm thrilled to say, I've been happily creating and selling scrapbook kits ever since. I feel so blessed for all of you and the wonderful support you've given my business. To show my appreciation, I've created a fun NEW envelope mini album titled Home Sweet Home and I'm giving its instructions away to everyone for FREE! Let's look inside, then I'll explain how to get it.

I created the album using six A7 white envelopes and three book rings (from Amazon, links below). The envelopes are approx. 5.25" x 7.25" and have a V shaped flap with pretty gold borders. It fits perfectly on my clear Acrylic Display Stand and looks so cute sitting out.

I also used the beautiful Doodlebug, Hello Again Collection. It has pretty colors and images of flowers, furniture, houses, plants, books, and gold foil accents ... just like the envelopes!

Inside, there are 5 pockets, 3 fun flippies, places to journal, and space for 24 photos. Above, there's a "Life is beautiful" flippie with space for 2 pictures and a lined card for notes, dates, names, locations, or events.

Check out this pocket "page". I added a pretty photo mat inside that's covered in flowers, another flippie on the front, and little enamel butterfly shape sprinkles. Notice the gold trim on the envelope? I love it.

This mini is perfect for photos of friends, family, everyday moments, home, and celebrations. It also makes the sweetest handmade gift. You could give it for a birthday, Christmas, hostess, thank you, or Mother's Day present. But be sure to make two! You need one for yourself. 😉

You can use my instructions to replicate this album exactly, or ... be creative and customize it for your needs. You could mix up the paper collection / theme or change up the embellishments. Above, I added lots of fun die cut pieces and sprinkles to the flowers at the top. I love their shine.

I added some scalloped circle photo mats too. These are a favorite of mine and look so cute filled with favorite photos.
