12x12 Love You Valentine's Day Layout

Hi scrappers! It's time for my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project, and ... it's National Puzzle Day! So, I created a 12x12 scrapbook page with a big beautiful patchwork heart that reminds me of a puzzle. I also got inspiration for the design from a quilt my grandmother made me when I was a child. I designed it with the My Life 365 Collection, some puffy and enamel shapes, and 2 pink Bella Besties prints, making this layout a sweet spot for your Valentine's Day photos. 🧩🩷 

To make this, I used black card stock and a sheet of Bella Besties graph and dot in punch for the base. Then, I designed the heart shape I wanted and cut 5 out of different 12x12 patterned papers. I cut them up in pieces exactly the same and mixed up the patterns until I liked the patchwork design. Then, I pieced the heart back together like a puzzle and adhered the pieces to white card stock.

I wanted to add a little bit of stitching, so I used black embroidery floss to sew a line around the heart. At the end, I tied a cute bow and added some epoxy hearts, a puffy star, and cute puffy dots from the collection. 

In the lower left corner, I matted two black and white photos and adhered them to the heart. Then I added a few more epoxy hearts, a black arrow from the Puffy Trinkets stickers, and more dots.

 

How cute is this Be Mine Bella-pops?! I love the shine of the heart shaped hot air balloon, the little blue clouds, and the dimension it adds to the page. And just underneath, I added the "Love You" die cut from the Ephemera Words and sprinkled a few more puffy stickers around.

Finally, I added two epoxy hearts that came with the Be Mine Bella-pops on top of the hot air balloons in the print above. Can you see them? They are the cute pink polka dot hearts. What a fun little detail!
