Spring Memories Scrapbook Album with Bella Blvd

Hello friends and happy Wednesday! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and this week, I created a mini album using the fabulous Just Because Collection and one of Bella's pretty Cut-Outs. It's a spring inspired scrapbook that's perfect for photos of family, friends, and favorite memories!

The amazing flowers on the cover are Bella's Cut-Outs titled Mood Booster. If you're not familiar with these or don't own a Cricut or Silhouette, I think you're going to love this product. They are pre-cut white cardstock designs that have the detailed look of electronic die-cutting machines. Each package includes the cut-out sheet, step-by-step instructions, and templates for easy backing with patterned paper.

For the album, I chose my 6x6 inch Acrylic Clear 6x6 Square Album. I loved the idea of adding the cut-out design to the transparent cover so the flowers showed through to the inside as well. The album includes the 2 covers, 2 silver binding rings, and 6 white card stock pages that include 2 fold-out pages and 1 pocket.

On this layout, I used the Dancing Daisies print in the background and added a cute polka dot mat. Then, I decorated with a flower border sticker and the "special day" sticker from the Doohickey sheet. The cute little mailbox, bumble bee, and bird are die cuts from the Ephemera Icons.

I love the beautiful patterns on this pocket page. The soft pink print in the background is called Homegrown Seeds and on the front ... the Bloomin' Beauties paper. I added the bright green scalloped sticker from the Doohickey sheet. Then, I made a colorful polka dot photo mat, and added a journaling card and tag from the Daily Details.

What a pretty page for a family photo. I was brave and added the Flower Garden Bella-pops. I love these stickers and if you hoard them like I do, you'll understand the struggle. Lol. This sweet little 3D birdhouse has gorgeous layers of flowers and epoxy dots. The spring letters and memories are Doohickey stickers.

This is a fun fold-out page with space for 3 pictures. I added a photo mat to the front flap, a striped scalloped sticker to the edge, and decorated with some adorable die cuts. Inside, I chose the Sing Me A Song paper that's covered in colorful birdhouses and birds.

And we can't forget my clear Acrylic Display Stand! It's perfect for showing off your mini albums and can be set out year round filled with special pictures. Such a cute spring decor piece!

I hope today's new Memories Mini Album gives you a little inspiration for the season. The Bella Blvd Just Because Collection is perfect for highlighting your spring photos and the Cut-Outs made my clear acrylic cover look amazing!! Thanks for stopping by the blog today and happy scrappin'! 😊

NEW! Keep Smilin'! Scrapbook Album Kit

It's Friday friends!  And you know what that means!  A brand new kit ... and I am so excited about this one!  If you are like me, and love color and all things bright and happy, you are going to love this album kit as much as I do!

This mini album is great for saving photos of almost any theme!  Family, friends, vacations, everyday, celebrations, spring, a trip to a botanical garden, college memories, and the list goes on!

Isn't she pretty? I designed this kit with a swimming pool binder from Doodlebug and the Color Me Happy collection by Simple Stories.  The title is Keep Smilin'! and I love the colors of the flowers on the cover!  Did you see that adorable card poking up from behind the camera?  "Okie Dokie Artichoke" made me smile so I had to include it on the cover!

If we take a peek inside, the first thing we see is this colorful journaling card and more of the pretty flowers.  This is a great spot for a To:/From: if you're giving the album as a gift, or for documenting dates, places, people, etc.

This is one of my favorite pages.  First it's my favorite color, and second, it was designed to look like an envelope.  I envision a colorful 5x7 photo tucked into the pocket with that fun tab sticker across the top!

Okay, those colors are so pretty!!

Here's one of the fun flippies I included in the album.  It's the perfect spot for 2 vertical 4x6 photos.  Happy vibes only though please!

And here's one of the pockets!  The album has 20 pages, 10 double-sided, including 2 fold-out pages, 3 pockets, 6 flippies, great places for journaling, and space for 55+ photos.

Here are a few ideas for photos for this book:
  • spring and flower gardens
  • a family celebration
  • a day with friends
  • Mother's Day (what a great gift this would be!)
  • a vacation or roadtrip to a place with lots of beautiful color
  • college memories, prom, or a day out with the girls
  • and of course, everyday moments documenting your wonderful life!

My brand new Keep Smilin'! album kit is in the shop today!  You don't want to miss this one!

Happy crafting my friends!

Bunny Hop Easter Egg Page with Doodlebug

Happy Thursday, friends! Easter is just a few days away, and today I’m sharing a fun 12x12 layout created with the adorable Bunny Hop collection. This might be one of my all-time favorite Doodlebug collections.  In fact, if you’ve been following along on Instagram or Facebook this week, you know I’ve been sharing “Five Days of Bunny Hop” all week long, and today’s layout is Day 4!

For my background, I started with the pretty Spring Sprouts paper and layered a piece of white cardstock in the center. I love fitting several photos onto my layouts, so I added four photo mats using the Carrot Patch paper along the left side of the page. Behind the photos, I tucked in a piece of the May Flowers accent paper. Those colorful flowers are absolutely gorgeous and definitely my favorite pattern in the entire collection!

Above the photos, I layered a few tags from the Easter’s On Its Way sheet, then added a doodle twine bow and a few flowers from the Bits & Pieces pack.

In the lower right corner, I used two scallop stickers from the This & That sticker sheet to create a sweet little border. Then I added lots of colorful eggs, a fun Chit Chat title, and a few Hello Spring Shape Sprinkles for just the right amount of shine. And of course, I couldn’t resist adding a trio of the adorable Springtime Peeps DoodlePops scattered around the page!

My favorite finishing touch might be the Easter egg garland on the right side. I created it with three rows of twine and hung tiny Odds & Ends Easter eggs from pop dots. It looks just like a cheerful little Easter banner—and honestly, now I think I need a real one hanging in my house too. So cute!!

I hope this page has inspired you to create something fun with the Bunny Hop collection! Happy Easter everyone!

12x12 Easter Page with Bella Blvd

Happy Wednesday friends!  I hope you are starting to see some signs of spring where you live!  In Georgia, the pollen is so bad I felt like I was driving through a yellow cloud on my way to pick my grandchildren up on the golf cart!  UGH!  My eyes were a watery, itchy mess by the time I got to them! Still, I'm thankful for the warmer days, greener grass, and colorful flowers, so the project I'm sharing with you today has all the spring and Easter vibes.

For this page I used the April papers from Bella's My Life 365 collection and added in some coordinating Bella Bestie prints.  Tearing paper was a more popular scrapbook technique years ago, but the torn edges reminded me of cracked Easter eggs or woven Easter baskets.  I love to find new places to get inspiration!  I tore the edges of the April and Bunny Hop papers, and layered them over dot and graph bestie papers in plum, bell pepper and peep.

I love the plum accents in these patterns so I included a plum epoxy heart (from Dog Lover) on the adorable ephemera cloud.  I popped the cloud up next to the sun, and hung the handle of my plum umbrella on my April title (from the Ephemera Words).  Isn't that raindrop print the cutest?  I love it!

I tucked in a few more flower pieces, and then added the Bunny Basket Bella Pop to finish my page.  Now I'm ready to document cute Easter photos of Rylee and Jax!

I hope my Easter page inspires you to play with Bella's My Life 365 Collection, and of course, the Bella Bestie prints ... oh, and maybe tear some paper once in a while!  😉 Below are the links to the products I used. Until next time, have a wonderful day full of crafty fun!

Lucky Me Tag Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hello friends! It's time for another Doodlebug Design Team Project and this week, I made a small tag shaped scrapbook that's filled with pretty flowers and cute ladybugs. It's a simple and fairly quick mini album that's perfect for spring photos. It also makes a sweet gift idea for an Easter basket, a birthday, or Mother's Day!

I designed this with the new Doodlebug Design, Lucky Me Collection (links below) and I've been having so much fun with it. It's giving me all the happy spring vibes and, I am loving it!

For the base, I used my 2x4 inch Acrylic Tag Shaped Album. It comes with 1 binding ring and 6 acrylic tags that are made of 1/16" clear acrylic. I specifically designed this album to fit Doodlebug's cut apart tags found on their 12x12 sheets.

For today's project, I used the tags from this 12x12 St. Patty's Plaid paper. Since Lucky Me is considered a "mini collection", the tag sheet only has 6 tags vs. 12 in the regular collections. So, I simply traced their shape onto 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers and cut more out. Super easy!

Ok, now for the cute cover. I used the green Clover Patch tag as the base and cut out two small mats. Then, I adhered the gorgeous Love You Doodle-pops sticker on top and added 3 little red heart shaped sprinkles. Look how pretty she is! So many cute layers and enamel accents.

I cut this tag out of the red polka dot print called My Lucky Charm and added a photo mat. Then, I embellished with the flower icon sticker and This & That word sticker.

For this next page, I cut out the tag out of the reverse side of the My Lucky Charm print. Then, I created a 1.5" x 2" flippie with the adorable "hello sunshine" card. The cut apart cards in the 6x8 paper pad were the perfect size for this little tag album and now this page has space for 2 pictures!

How fun are these colorful pages? For the tag on the left, I mixed fun patterns, then decorated with a rainbow mini icon sticker. On the right, I chose the striped tag from the 12x12 St. Paddy's Plaid print. Then, I added the smaller journaling card from the 6x8 paper pad and a cute green 🏠 from the mini icons stickers.

Here, I created another flippie with a sweet lil' mushroom scene. And just below it, I added 2 enamel flowers from the Rainbow Bright sprinkles and the "blessed" This & That sticker. The page on the right is a tag from the 12x12 St. Paddy's Plaid print, and ... it's perfect just as it is.

Loving the little rainbow colored dots above. That paper is called Clover Patch and it had to be a tag. 💕 Then, I added a photo mat and the cute mushrooms icons sticker. The next page was another great tag from the 12x12 St. Paddy's Plaid print and it definitely makes me happy!

And last but not least, I didn't forget the puffy stickers! I used the "lucky me" on the page above along with the cutest sunshine mini icon sticker ever! I love its colorful sun rays.

This tag album looks adorable sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand, doesn't it? Perfect little home or office decor and it's filled with your sweet memories!

I hope today's project inspires you to create something special with my Acrylic Tag Shaped Album and the adorable Lucky Me Collection. Have a wonderful day and happy scrapping! 😊
