Strawberry Gift Set with Lori Whitlock Designs

When I think of summer, for some reason I always think of strawberries.  Maybe because strawberry shortcake is one of my favorite desserts, or because red is one of my favorite colors.  I'm not sure, but when I saw Lori's Strawberry Bundle, I couldn't wait to make all of the projects!  I mean, strawberries with hearts?  How cute!

For today's project I made a gift set for a friend with a strawberry card and a gift box.  I love the little milk carton shaped box, tied with ribbon and a cute tag at the top.  I used paper from the Little Ladybug collection designed by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park and tomato card stock from Simple Stories (links below).

I wanted to tie the two projects together so I used a black and white gingham ribbon on the top of the card. I also added a few yellow Doodlebug enamel dots to the cute little flowers. I love a green, red, black and white color combo!

I love how this set turned out and I can't wait to make a few more projects from this adorable bundle! I hope you are inspired to add strawberries to your list of summer projects too!  Happy crafting!
