Hey guys! The month of May has begun and the weather is warming up! Time to get outside and feel the sunshine on our faces. But first, I have a new 12x12 calendar page idea to share with you. It's filled with pretty flowers, spring colors, and hints that summer is just around the corner.🌞
I used a Daily Doodles calendar sheet from my stash. But I carry the new Day to Day Calendar sheets in my shop & they're just as wonderful & super colorful (link below).
I chose 6x6 and 12x12 papers from the Doodlebug Pretty Kitty Collection. Check out that beautiful floral print called Backyard Bunch. I LOVE it so much, it had to be at the top of the page.
Next to the days of the week, I added some cute little puffy hearts from the Pretty Kitty puffy stickers. I also used a few border stickers from the This and That. And see the little white picket fence with flowers? ... It's a mini icon sticker from the My Happy Place collection.
I added some pretty enamel flower sprinkles on Mother's Day. I love the colors and the shine it adds to the page. The palm tree is a mini icon sticker from the Seaside Summer collection.
If you want to mark off a group of days for a vacation, someone visiting, etc ... I like to add a border sticker across the middle of the boxes for all of those days.
I didn't add any handwritten notes to my page but, I will! It's a great way to stay organized. It also acts like a journal of your month's activities once you add it to your scrapbook. Win, win!
