Hey guys, guess what today is? It's National Send A Card To A Friend Day and with Valentine's Day next week ... it's the perfect excuse to make some fun handmade cards. I created two that are not only simple to make, but they don't take a lot of time, and can be made with any paper collection you have on hand.

Look how cute and colorful! I used the Doodlebug, Lots of Love Collection and the PhotoPlay #9 Circle Windows Die Set. The cards measure 3.75" wide x 8.75" tall and use a 3 7/8" x 8 7/8" envelope.

I love this pink one. I started with Doodlebug's textured cardstock in swimming pool for the base and added some super pretty 12x12 prints on top.

I layered the Forever Flowers paper on first, then white card stock, and then the pink hearts paper called Love You Bunches. Inside each circle, I've added some Odds & Ends, Icon stickers, Chit Chat, and 4 different packages of sprinkles (links below).
If you look closely, you'll see little stitch lines around the circle that are made when you use the die to cut the 3 circles out. Such a cute detail!
Check out the close-up of this circle with its shiny enamel sprinkles. The larger heart with the face is from the Happy Hearts stickers and the smaller red ones are from the Love You More.
These 2 little birds are surrounded by a pretty flowered wreath and it fits perfectly in this circle. I added more enamel flower sprinkles on top in matching colors.
For this next card, I used Doodlebug's textured cardstock in Bubblegum for the base. I added white cardstock and that cute 12x12 rainbow print called Cloud Nine.
I love the little white bear holding the heart balloons. He's tucked in the circle just behind the rainbow print. I added the word bubble from the This & That sticker sheet and yep, you guessed it ... enamel sprinkle shapes!
