Acrylic Snow Globe Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey guys! Today I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and it's so ... stinkin' ... cute! It's a mini album shaped like a little snow globe!! From the second I saw the new Let it Snow collection, I knew I was making this. The Christmas and winter theme, those cute little animals, and Santa. Yep ... had to make a snow globe.

I started by making the fun shaped album. I cut it out of white acrylic using the Let it Snow, Snowglobe cutting file (coming soon!).

Hmmm, what do you guys think of this maybe being a new Friday kit or an acrylic album with separate instructions? I think it's such a special little keepsake.

It would be perfect
filled with lots of different photos from the season. I love that the Let it Snow collection is a mix of Christmas and winter, so you can add pictures of friends and family, fun in the snow, a visit with Santa, Christmas morning, and any wonderful memory from the month.

Just inside the cover, I've added lots of cute die cuts to create a sweet little snow scene from the North Pole. I love Santa's workshop nestled in the trees with the snow capped mountains in the background.

Each of the pages are made with white card stock and pretty patterned papers. The cute print and the "you're snow cute" word bubble makes the page above great for a picture of your children or grandkids.

I'm a huge fan of the scalloped circle mats but especially for this album. It mimics the shape of the snow globe perfectly. I used 3.5 inch scalloped punch and a 3 inch circle punch. Oh, and check out the little squirrel peeking out of the tree. So cute!

This is one of my favorite pages ... so many mini Santas, the tiny trees, the holiday colors, and the 2 penguin faces are all just amazing. It's perfect for a fun Christmas morning photo.

I had so much fun making this mini snow globe album and I hope it inspires you to create something special, too. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
