Valentine Coloring Cards with Lori Whitlock

Hi crafty friends!  Welcome to Lori Whitlock's February Blog Hop! My blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too, because she has some goodies for you ... a sale, a giveaway, and a cute freebie!

For today's project, I created Valentine crayon holders for my granddaughter's preschool class using some of Lori's amazing cutting files (links below). This is such a cute idea for classmates. It's a fun activity and since there are so many food allergies, a coloring set makes a great alternative to candy.

This would also be a unexpected surprise on Valentine's Day morning for your own little ones. Imagine their joy when they sit down for breakfast and find one of these waiting for them!

These came together very quickly. I ordered the Valentine Card Crayon Holder Bundle (link below) that has 10 different coloring designs. I grouped all the coloring images on to an 8 1/2x11" silhouette mat and printed them (2 groups to print all 10) on white cardstock. Then, I cut them out with a paper trimmer while the cute scallop backgrounds were cutting on my Cameo machine.

This was an easy project and I think the kiddos will have fun with them. The links for the cutting files in Lori's shop are below. I've included the bundle but she also sells each them individually.

Your next stop on the hop is Kathy's site!  Have fun!
