I hope you are all having as wonderful a weekend as I am having!
Mine started out yesterday hosting a scrapbooking day with 4 of my super fun scrappy friends. We played with paper and glue all day long, ate too much popcorn and guacamole, had a "few" sips of wine, and laughed until way past my bedtime. Always a wonderful way to spend a day... and we got a lot of scrapbooking done too!
Since I rarely scrapbook my own photos, and am usually working on Artsy Albums Kits, I thought I would share a layout that I actually completed for my family album -- shocking!
This layout is about my beautiful niece and her high school graduation. The paper line is by Echo Park called "All About A Boy" -- obviously, this layout is NOT about a boy :) so I want you to be inspired, as I was, to use paper collections that might be "themed" for one thing...for something else entirely! Don't skip over a certain collection at your LSS because of a "theme"... look closely and envision what else you could do with those fun papers and embellies!
Now, with that said, this new collection by Echo Park is super cute and does have a ton of fun "boy-cuteness" going on, so I had to create a new kit :)
The latest Artsy Albums Kit is not really all that mini this time either. This chipboard album is 8x8 and includes 16 fun pages for lots of guy memories -- 8 full scrapbook pages, 8 pocket pages for tucking in a frog or two, and 4 fold-out inserts for additional photos and journaling.
Here are a couple pics...let me know what you think!
