NEW! Documented Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello crafty friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project, AND ... this week's fabulous NEW scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday! This pretty mini album, titled Documented is perfect for photos of family and friends, special events, and all the fun experiences that make up your everyday life.

I designed it with a 6x8 inch Doodlebug Design binder and Bella Blvd's Documented Collection. It has bright colors, flowers, hearts, cameras, office supplies, and fun patterns that will highlight your daily life perfectly.

Inside, there are 24 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 3 pockets, 2 flippies, and space for 50+ photos on the layouts and in the clear page protectors.

Here's one of the fold-out pages. I used the fun camera print on the front and added the "smile" stickers to go with the theme. When you open the flap ...

... you'll see rainbow stripes, fun polka dots, photo mats, and colorful die cuts. I love the little "to-do list". You could document activities, names, dates, events, or locations.

This album is wonderfully generic so it's perfect for all the memories of your day-to-day life.  Add pictures of birthdays, date night, coffee with friends, a weekend getaway, time in the kitchen, and family gatherings.

Don't forget to include moments throughout the year like a friend's wedding, a bridal or baby shower, a graduation, prom, a sports activity, a church event, a local festival, an anniversary, or a work function.

Hi scrappers! Today, I'm sharing 10 new instructions that will be in my shop on Friday. Some of these include the measurements and some do not, so you would need to estimate the photo mat and paper sizing for those. 12x12 Birthday Number Lace Scrapbook Page

Hello everyone! Today, I'm sharing my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project and step-by-step tutorial. I wanted to create a fun 12x12 scrapbook page for a picture of my sweet grandson's 4th birthday, so ... I went searching for the perfect cutting file. Lori always has such great products!

I chose her Number Lace Cutting File (links below). Not only did it have a number 4 on it, but I also loved the positive and negative spaces it created in the background.

Here's how I made this layout ... 

1. I added the cutting file to my mat and resized it to 10.75 x 10.75”.  I cut it out of white card stock and set that aside. 

2. Next, I used the knife tool to chop down the background into smaller pieces so that I could focus in on the number 4.  I didn’t want to cut the entire background piece again just to get the 4. 

3. Once I isolated the 4 in the file, I deleted everything else and cut this section out of orange paper.  

4. Then I used my scissors to trim the rest of the paper from around the number. 

5. Now that I had the white background and the orange number cut out, it was time to create my layout!

I used the Echo Park, Vroom Collection that was also designed by Lori (links below). I decorated my Race Car Mini Album with it and the colors and patterns were just what I was looking for. 

I started with the orange 12x12 pattern called Ready Set Go Stripes as my base and layered the blue Winner Winner print and Ready Racers paper on top. Then, I added the white number lace sheet and I backed each corner with a yellow triangle cut from a solid in the Vroom Collection.

Next, I adhered the orange 4 on top of the white 4 that's part of the background. I cut some photo mats out of a few other papers from the Vroom Collection and I added my photo.

Then, I finished the layout with lots of fun embellishments. The "Let's Go" is from the Vroom 12x12 sticker sheet. And the other birthday themed stickers and die cuts are from the Bella Blvd, Birthday Bash Collection.

12x12 Summer Fun Scrapbook Layout with Doodlebug

Hey there! It's time for my next Doodlebug Design Team Project and this time, I made a 12x12 scrapbook page with the beautiful Summer Fun Collection. If you love bright colors and cute summer icons, this is a great layout idea for your photos of the beach, a vacation, backyard fun, and sweet sunny memories.🌞

I started with a 12x12 sheet of lily white card stock for the base. Then, I added the pretty blue floral called Let's Luau on half the page, and the Pink Paradise pattern on the other half (product links below).

Next, I centered another sheet of white paper and added 3 photo mats across the top. I made these out of the Water Babies print, the Petite Prints Candy Stripe and Sprinkles in bubblegum, and the Gull Friends print.  

This page needed a splash of sunshine, so I cut a narrow strip of the Summer Fun pattern, notched the ends, and adhered it in the center. I added the This & That "Fun In The Sun" sticker on top and embellished the corner with lots of cute die cuts from the Odds & Ends and This & That stickers. I really do "love this"! 

In the right corner, I added a photo mat cut from the back side of the Pink Paradise print. Those colorful flowers are so pretty! Then, I decorated using more This & That stickers and Odds & Ends pieces. And ... she was complete! Simple, fun, and perfect for happy warm weather pics!

Ok, let's check out more of this cute exclusive kit ... 

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Doodlebug binder in limeade and decorated the cover with colorful little houses, rainbow stripes, scalloped stickers, a polka dot car, and ... a PINK tree! So cute.

Inside, there are 18 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-outs, 4 pockets, 10 flippies, and space for 55++ photos. On the first page (above), I added a photo mat with cute flowers and a flippie with space for 2 pics.

I think mini albums are always more interesting if you layer different sized pages and interactive elements. So in the photo above, I created a clear skinny pocket page that holds fun cards and photo mats. I like that you can see past it to the next page.

And ... that next page is super FUN. I made a fold-out page with 2 flippies on the front flap. Each one has a little photo mat hanging over the polka dot sofas like art in your home, lol! And inside, I added a colorful stripe paper, pretty pink flowers, and space for 4 photos.

This is what the layout looks like when you open the fold-out. I think the cute kitty cat, the sweet little dog, the refrigerator, the washing machine, and all the pink hearts add just the right amount of hominess to this page. 

Check out these layers! I created two pockets on top of one another. In the back, I tucked in some photo mats for extra pictures. In the next pocket, I added a few colorful tags that can be used for photos or journaling. And on the front, a mat for a picture of "family time". 💕

Next ... another pocket page. I decorated this one with whimsical stripes and sunny yellow flowers. Then, I created a fun scene with 2 cute houses. I'd like to live in the pink house, please.

Ready for more space saving flippies? This page has 1 large one, 2 small ones, lots of colorful polka dots, and space for 6 photos! So, take the photo ... take all the photos! Then save them right here.
