Watering Can Card & Gift Bag - Lori Whitlock March Blog Hop

Welcome back crafty friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too because she has some goodies for you ... a sale, a giveaway, and a cute freebie!

For my project, I created a pretty gift set that includes a watering can with flowers card and a sweet little gift bag. So cute and such a thoughtful handmade gift for mom!

With spring, Mother's Day, Easter and birthdays in mind, I wanted to make a card and gift bag that could be used for any of these occasions.

For the card, I used one of Lori's cutting files that's part of a bundle called Spring Shaped Card (link below). I just loved the watering can with the pretty flowers sticking out the top. I used a paper collection that Lori created for Echo Park called I (Heart) Crafting. Isn't that plaid is beautiful?!

Then to create the adorable gift bag I used a cut file called Favor Box Tag (link below). I used the same plaid so that it matched the card and added a tag from the I Heart Crafting ephemera. I hope you'll give this project a try for your next gift!

  3. I love the fresh look to this file. I have this file of the pitcher of flowers and I just can't seem to get enough of it. Thank you for showing me another option.
