This album is perfect for pictures of the engaged couple, the ring, rehearsal, dress shopping, bridal party, decorations, family, friends, the BIG DAY, and more! You can also save memorabilia in the pockets - the invitation, your vows, receipts, a napkin, notes, etc.

This 6x8 inch mini is just the right size to fit in your purse, to carry with you, and to share your wonderful moments with friends.

It would also be a beautiful handmade gift for an engagement, a bridal shower, a mother-of-the-bride or groom, a grandparent, and the bridal party!

I used a black Simple Stories album and it has 16 pages (8 double-sided) that include pocket pages, 2 fold-out pages, & space for at least 60 photos.

Desk Note Box with Doodlebug Designs

Who doesn't want a pretty desk? If we have to spend time there to work, pay bills, or even do some crafting, we all want a work space that's functional and inviting. Today, I have a project to share that might help brighten up your workspace a bit.

I discovered this fun box by Graphic 45 called a Book Box (approx 5x7) in my craft stash and decided to cover it with gorgeous papers from Doodlebug's Hello collection. I wanted something for my desk to hold notepaper, paperclips and sticky notes. This will be functional and pretty!

For the outside of the box, I used 12x12 papers. The pretty pink is Doodlebug's Petite Print Floral in Bubblegum. The gorgeous plaid is called Poppy Plaid  and the blue print is called Hello There. I added a scallop border sticker from the This & That to decorate around the edge and the Garden Party washi tape. (Other product links below.)

For the top, a 3x4 card, odds & ends, and a cute typewriter doodle-pop add color and dimension. I continued the papers and scallop sticker inside the box.

Finally, I had lots of left over icon stickers from the collection so I added them to some lined note paper, punched holes, and tied up the sheets with ribbon for a fun little notepad that fits perfectly into the box. A colorful pen and some jelly clips (sold here) finished up my project.

Product links below. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer, but if you have to be inside at a desk, why not make it colorful and fun? Happy crafting!

Hello crafty friends!  Today is Lori Whitlock's July Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too, because she has a sale, a giveaway, and a cute freebie for you!

For my project, I created a beautiful Thank You card using one of Lori's cutting files called Extreme Pop Up Card Flowers. Isn't this one pretty?! But wait until you see the inside ...

The paper collection is Echo Park's Forward With Faith (designed by Lori).

Tahdah! I love it! This card was so easy to make, and Lori has a video tutorial on her You Tube channel if you want to check it out.

I'm so glad you stopped by, and I hope you'll visit my shop! I add a new album or page kit every week so there is always something new!

July 4th Shadow Box Frame

Happy 4th of July!!  I hope everyone is enjoying this red, white, and blue holiday with lots of family and friends. Here's a fun little home decor project to inspire some crafty fun.

This is a Foundations Decor shadow box that I filled with papers and embellishments from the Doodlebug Yankee Doodle collection.

The lily white chipboard alphas made a fun title at the top of my frame. And don't you love how the clear acetate fireworks pieces look like they're exploding right off the frame?! They're from the Yankee Doodle Odds and Ends (links below).

I filled the die cut wagon with mini icon stickers. I love the tiny sizes of the fireworks and that cute little mouse! The Fireworks word bubble is from the This and That.

I hope this simple little project has inspired you to create something red, white, and blue for a little holiday decor. Enjoy!

Update: Since this collection may be harder to find, I've also added links for Doodlebug's Land that I Love Collection which is a great substitute.
