Everyday Photos Scrapbook Album Kit

It's Saturday!  Hope you all have some fun plans for the weekend :)

I wanted to share the latest mini album kit with you. This sweet 6x6 album will be perfect for your everyday photos -- those pictures of the kids being kids, a visit with grandma, a family outing or dinner -- any photos that are special and deserve to be displayed rather than tucked away in a drawer or on your computer.

Rich, vibrant colors, fun phrases, tags, pockets, and 3-D embellishments -- these are just a few of the things that adorn the 12 pages of this album. The cover is covered with beautiful paper and embellishments by My Mind's Eye. The pages include photo mats, brads, and a fold-out so that at least 18 photos can be added throughout the book. I always create my albums so that photos can easily tuck under embellishments, and I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies.

Anyone can easily save their memories with an Artsy Album kit! Visit my shop today :)

Have a wonderful weekend friends -- hope you make lots of memories!

As always, thanks so much for stopping by. To get great scrapbooking ideas & to stay up-to-date on new products & sales please "like" Artsy Albums on Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest!

A Tutorial and Some Great New Products

Wow -- it's been a busy week in the crafting world!  The summer CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) show has been in full swing in Las Vegas this week -- so today I have two fun things to share with you...some new CHA products and then a really fun tutorial!
We R Memory Keepers:
Monday and Tuesday I shared a few projects that I created for the We R Memory Keepers CHA booth -- a layout using their new Notable collection, and several projects created with North Pole.  Here are two more Notable projects:

For this mini album, I used the We R Memory Cinch binding tool and their awesome Tab punch.  I love that the tab punch also has matching tab stickers that reinforce the tab -- really cute!

For this layout, I used We R's Crafter's Stapler to attach the title and word strips.

I just love We R Memory Keepers and I hope you'll hop over to their site and show them some love this week -- they have lots of CHA sneak peeks and giveaways for you to check out!

Now...for the second fun little share I have for you...

A Tutorial with Lori Whitlock Designs:
If you visit Lori Whitlock Designs today, you can learn how to use the knife tool to make your Silhouette designs your own.  For this card, I wanted the dogs to look like my sweet pups, Maisy and Reeci.   I love Lori's cutting file, but needed one of the dogs to have a shorter tail...and one to have shorter ears.  This is easy to do!  Head over to Lori's blog to get all of the details!

Thanks for visiting Artsy Albums!

Day 2 -- We R Memory Keepers Sneak Peeks

It's Day 2 of my We R Memory Keepers CHA show sneak peeks.   Yesterday I introduced you all to their new paper line called Notable...and I'll have some more layouts using this collection to share with you tomorrow.   Today I'm posting some projects from their new Christmas collection called North Pole, which will begin shipping to stores in October.  I love the traditional colors in this line, with the addition of some frosty blue accents.

First, a simple card using one of the North Pole Tags as a title piece.  I added a sticker and some wonderful twine and it's ready for sending!

Next, a layout featuring my crazy family.   I love the red & white candy cane stripe peeking through!

We R Memory has fantastic "Albums Made Easy" products.  For this page, I simply slipped a few photos and journaling cards into the slots and it was done -- how easy is that!

Finally, what would Christmas be without notes to Santa?  I decorated this adorable metal mailbox with paper from the North Pole collection and added red washi tape to the edges and flag.  There is also frosty blue twine along the washi tape edges for some added charm :)

Thanks for stopping by today!  I'll be back tomorrow with a few more 'Notable' projects.  Don't forget to "like" Artsy Albums on Facebook to stay current on our giveaways, coupons, and new products!

and speaking of giveaways...head over to We R Memory's blog (you might just find fun giveaways over there all week...hint....hint!)

New CHA products from We R Memory Keepers

Hello crafty friends,
Over the next few days I will be sharing some projects that I completed for the We R Memory Keepers CHA show booth.  We R Memory has some awesome new products coming out this season that you are going to LOVE!   Let's start out with a brand new paper line called Notable (shipping in November), an all occasion collection in bold colors of navy, red, yellow and orange.  The collection includes cute camera and typewriter icons, arrows, and chevrons.  For this layout, I also used We R Memory's Corner Mounter.  This fun tool lets you create slits in your layout or card so that you can tuck in a keepsake without using adhesive.

On a side note, how fun is this fish?  In 9th grade, my son was given an art assignment to turn a pencil into something completely different.  Other students drew houses, rocket ships, and other things that resemble pencils.  Not Rian...he really got creative with this one.

Stay tuned -- tomorrow I'll have another We R Memory Keepers layout to share.  And don't forget to visit their blog for giveaways and more sneak peeks all week!

Words of Wisdom Book with Fancy Pants Wonderful Life

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I'm sharing a little book I made for my son and his fiancé.  Chrissy's sweet aunt had a couples shower for them yesterday and wanted a book for guests to write in "words of wisdom" for the happy couple.  I decided to use one of the Fancy Pants Brag Books because not only do they have lined journaling pages (perfect for notes and "words of wisdom"), but they also have photo sleeves and pockets (great for shower photos and memorabilia).  The paper and embellishments are also by Fancy Pants -- 'What A Wonderful Day'

We also have a WINNER to announce!!

Congratulations to Lydia Evans!!

5x5 Lori Whitlock Mini Album with Box

Hello, hello! I'm so excited to be sharing this little album titled "Today is a Happy Day" over on Lori Whitlock's blog. I made this adorable mini using a few of Lori's awesome cutting files (all links below). The main one is called 5x5 Album with Box. I love that it has it's own case to store the album in! How cute is that?!

Besides being a great little album for everyday spring and summer photos, I think this would make the sweetest gift. I thought about making another one for my new neighbor that just moved in and filling it neighbor names and phone #s, local restaurants, theaters, doctors, etc.

For the how to ... I used heavy white card stock for the base of the box, album pages, and title. I wasn’t sure if it would be sturdy enough for the project but once I layered all of the other papers and embellishments on, it's very durable. I used the Echo Park, Here & Now Collection and the little sun sticker on the box cover is from the A Perfect Summer Collection.

I just love the "Today is a Happy Day" title! So fun. It's another one of Lori's cutting files called Chipboard Titles Vacation and the little birds on the branch are from the file called Love Birds (both links below). I chopped the legs off one of the little birds (poor guy) so it looks like he's sitting on the branch.

This album would be great for any of your family and friend memories or ... would make a cute brag book for pictures of the littles or gandlittles!

The colors and prints in this collection are so pretty and happy but any collection could be used to customize this album for a specific event or holiday.

I love that the design of this album has the ribbon/twine holes already punched for you. I did however, use a 1/4″ hole punch to make them a little larger so that my thicker ribbon would slide through easily. (See photo above.)

Below I've linked to Lori's cutting files so that you can make this cute little album and box for yourself or ... for a gift. Happy scrappin'!
