Farm Sweet Farm Scrapbook Album with Doodlebug

Hey friends! When you look up the word 'cute' in the dictionary, it should have a picture of the entire Doodlebug, Down on the Farm collection next to it. I mean seriously, there is nothing about this line that isn't completely adorable. Look what I made with it ... a Farm Sweet Farm Mini Album!

I had so much fun creating this barn-shaped mini album! I used the Doodlebug barn cutting file (link below), and modified it a bit so that the album would fit across the bottom.  That sweet little title banner above the barn door is from the chit chat pieces, and the other darling die cuts are odds & ends.

I just love the 3x4 cards ... they are perfect for the front of this flip-up card (above) and for tucking into a pocket (below).

I also love the tiny heart sprinkles!! 💗 You'll find them scattered throughout the album. See above on the milk jug?

This collection has so many precious new Doodlepops, but my favorite might be the Hen and Chicks. I added it to the top and it stays within view as you flip through the albums pages. So cute!

This album is a great place to save special memories from a visit to a farm, a petting zoo or even a farm-themed birthday. Fill it full of precious photos and then ... set it out as a cute home decor project!

Easter Card & Basket - Lori Whitlock March Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends, welcome to Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop. My blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too for more great products and ideas!

For my project, I created an adorable gift set for Easter using two of Lori's great cutting files. The basket is called Easter Basket 9 and the card is called
Pop Up Box Card Bunny Egg (links below).

This basket is darling and really easy to put together. Fill it with some Easter grass and tuck in a little gift card for a friend, candy for a sweetie or a small toy for a little one. So CUTE!

All of Lori's folding pop out cards are fun. I just love the bunny peaking out from behind the egg! Pair this sweet card with the little basket and you've made a great gift in no time!

Oh, and the pattern paper is from Echo Park's Celebrate Spring Collection. If you don't have this collection, a really pretty substitute would be Echo Park's Welcome Spring or Welcome Easter (links below). Both have great colors and really cute patterns.

Thank you so much for hopping with us!

My Crafty Adventures with Simple Stories

Hi crafty friends!  I'm so happy to be back as part of the Simple Stories 2018 creative team!  I'm up on their blog today with a pocket album that's all about my crafty adventures ...  creative retreats, scrapbook time with friends, and CHA visits.  Their new Crafty Girl collection was perfect for documenting these fun memories!
I used a 6x8 pocket for the first page and added a 4x6 element card to the front of a fold out.  Inside the card, is a photo from my first trip to the summer Craft & Hobby Association convention.
I love that Simple Stories makes the 6x8 paper pad for most of their collections.  I used one of the pages from the pad for the title page below.  I like how it breaks up the smaller spaces throughout the album.

There are so many cute embellishments with Crafty Girl!  I like layering them right over the pocket edges.  The cute camera above is a chipboard sticker and the adorable little journaling spot is from the bits and pieces.
Have you noticed that the tab stickers fit right on the chipboard tabs in your snap albums?  How fun is that?

I know all of you crafty girls are loving this colorful new collection!  Have fun...and be sure to document your crafty adventures.
