Smile Spring Garden Scrapbook Layout

Hey everyone! I'm back on the Doodlebug Blog today, sharing my 12x12 Spring Garden layout. I just love the patterns and colors in this collection. The plaids, dots, flowers and chevrons are all so cute!

I used pictures of my sweet nieces and cute papers from the Doodlebug Spring Garden Collection. For the base, I started with the 12x12 blue and green polka dot called Kiwi Dot and added white cardstock on top of that. Then layered the blue Sweet Talk, Fruit Stripe and Garden Plaid on top.

The "smile" and larger flowers are from the Spring Garden Icon Stickers and the "together" tab and "good times" banner are from the This and That. Sprinkles are, by far my favorite embellishment so I added a bunch of tiny flower shapes and enamel dot sprinkles to this page. So CUTE!!

Aren't those little polaroid frames adorable with the BFF, LOL and '12? This collection has an entire page of them and it's called Berry Blossoms.

Note: Doodlebug's Fairy Garden Collection would be a really pretty substitute for these products so I've added some links below in case you want to take a look. Happy crafting everyone!

Hello everyone! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project using the adorable Bunnyville Collection (links below) and a photo crate by 7 Gypsies. It's a really cute way to store and display photos. I created this one for myself but once it was complete, I thought it would make such a fun kit for Artsy Albums!

Easter & St Patrick's Day Magnets - Lori Whitlock March Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Today I'm hopping along with Lori Whitlock's Creative Team for our March blog hop! If you are starting here, be sure to head back over to Lori's Blog to start from the beginning. We have lots of creative ideas to share with you!

For my project I created magnets for my refrigerator using 2 of Lori's cutting files called, 9 Easter Eggs and St Patrick's Day Icons (links below). But ... you can use any of her files to make magnets that are perfect for other holidays too. I decided on St. Patrick's Day and Easter since it's that time of year. 🐰🍀

I used self-adhesive magnet material by Silhouette (link below).  It cuts easily and is really fun to use.

After cutting your shape from card stock or pattern paper, cut the same background shape from the magnet material.  Peel off the magnet backing and adhere the
material to your shape. So easy!

Aren't these cute? Perfect for displaying photos, notes, or your child's artwork!

Just imagine how many fun magnets you could create with Lori's files. The possibilities are endless! I've added the cut file & magnet paper links below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrappin'!

Simple Stories Carpe Diem Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello my friends! I just love the new Carpe Diem Collection from Simple Stories. I created the prettiest scrapbook album kit using it and I think you're going to love it. It's perfect for everyday moments, family, friends, or it could be all about you! Seize the day and save your sweet memories.

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories black binder album. It has 12+ scrapbook pages that include lots of folding elements, tags, pockets, 4 fun shaped pages, and a large envelope for memorabilia.

You can add photos a vacation, a birthday, holidays, a favorite hobby, college life, or just about anything!

Some of the pages have cute sayings like ... This is the Good Stuff, Can't Rain on my Parade, Work Hard; Play Hard, Hello Weekend, Live Colorfully, and others.

The pockets are wonderful for saving extra photos, journaling, or memorabilia like a meaningful greeting card, tickets, love notes, brochures, invitations, or a business card.

This album would make a wonderful gift for a family member, friend, or co-worker. The theme is very general ... everyday life ... so lots of different photos and memories can be saved here!

I hope you like my new Carpe Diem Album Kit as much as I do! Hop over to my shop to see this fun mini and the newest kits, premades, and supplies.
