A Fun New Mini Album Gift

"To save time...let's assume I'm always right" -- ha!  This paper line has the cutest sayings and embellishments, but that one just cracks me up!  This new mini album is full of fun...

This friend or girl themed mini album is ready for photos! It would be a cute gift to gift several of your girlfriends, your bunco group, bridesmaids, or friends on a girl's weekend! Contact me for discount pricing on 3 or more of these mini albums.

It would also be cute full of 1950's black and white photos !

The title of the album is "Life is a Bowl of Cherries", and features adorable pattern paper and sticker accents throughout.

The red and aqua album is embellished with beautiful flowers, stickers, ribbon and gems. It has 12 pages (6 front and back) and spots for 20 photos or journaling -- just trim photos to size and adhere to the page.

Some of the fun saying throughout this book are:
"To Save Time, Let's Assume I'm Always Right", "I'm ready for my close up", "Huba Huba", "Woot Hoot", and "Because I said so"

This album measures approximately 6x6 inches and includes sturdy chipboard covers and card stock pages.

A Gift from Usher's Boys

This week, I had a wonderful opportunity to create a really meaningful photo album for a father from his two little boys.  The album was a birthday present, and since his sons are barely out of preschool, I received a call from their grandmother.  Jonnetta Patton, Usher Raymond's mother, called me to request a custom album for her son.  She wanted each page to detail, through the photos and journaling, the wonderful relationship that Usher has with his boys.  No embellishments, no traditional scrapbooking...just a story for a Dad, told through pictures of him and his sons.

If you know me, you know I love what I do...I love the bling, the buttons, and the pattern paper.  But this week I was reminded of why I really scrapbook every day and why I started a business to do it -- the pictures and the stories.  Thank you so much Jonnetta, for allowing me to create such a wonderful gift for your son.  I hope he loves it...and I hope that someday his boys see what I saw in those photos.

Something New! A Christmas Card Kit ...

I'm so excited today!...again?...yes, I know, I'm always excited when I have fun things going on...and this seems to be a lot lately!  I love my life.... :)

Today, I have something (and someone) brand new to share with you!  For the first time ever, Artsy Albums has a fun, pre-cut card kit for making six adorable Christmas cards!  Since I've been getting ready for two craft shows, I had my sweet friend and great card designer, Gina D'Urso help me out with these!

Gina has designed six wonderful Christmas cards for this kit -- 5 standard size cards and 1 mini gift card.  You are going to LOVE them!  She used two different paper collections, Bo Bunny's "Mistletoe" and Teresa Collins "Christmas Cottage".  The kits include:

Pre-cut paper
Embellishments (Brads, metal trinkets, lace ribbon, gems!)
2 Sticker sheets
6 Envelopes
Full-color instructions
AND the kit is only $16.99!
That's less per card than you would pay for many store-bought cards PLUS you get two full sticker sheets with enough adorable stickers to use on other projects when your cards are done!

Okay, I'll shut up and show you the cards...

Cute huh?   I know!!  Gina did such a great job!

Welcome Baby Boy Scrapbook Album

I'm taking a break from creating kits today to have fun playing with a baby collection from Crate Paper called Little Boy Blue.  This vintage inspired paper line is just adorable and turned into a really cute mini album this afternoon.

The primary colors in this album just have boy written all over them -- throw in some puppies, a train, and a couple vintage toys and you have the makings for a very happy afternoon for Traci.  I had tons of fun creating this album, and it is available in the shop as a pre-made mini.  Perfect for a gift if you know any expecting mommies.

I will also be creating the "girl" version ... so check back soon with Artsy Albums!

Fall & Family Mini Album Kit, Simple Stories Harvest Lane

This brand new mini album kit was inspired by all of the wonderful things that I love about fall and family.  I love the colors of fall, the crispness to the air, and sweaters...love sweaters!  Fall makes everything feel very homey to me, so when I discovered this fabulous paper collection Harvest Lane by Simple Stories, I knew I wanted to create a kit with it.

Add photos of friends, family, fall colors, or a special occasion. Make the album and then give it as a gift -- the recipient will cherish a gift handmade by you!

The title of the album is "Homemade Memories", it measures 8x8 inches and will hold at least 23 photos.

I designed this unique chipboard album to be interactive and fun. The front cover opens up (gate fold style) to reveal 2- 4.5x8 horizontal pages. There are also 2-8x9" chipboard pages and 2-4.5x8 vertical pages, for a total of 8 pages (16 front and back).

As always, thanks so much for stopping by. To get great scrapbooking ideas & to stay up-to-date on new products & sales please "like" Artsy Albums on Facebook, Instagram & Pinterest!

Artsy Albums is a Year Old Today

I just can't believe it.  On October 1, 2011 I had no idea what the coming year was going to bring.  I had $600 and a dream to create a business doing what I love.  It's been a year of learning, creating, and meeting wonderful people.  I prayed that I would sell just 100 albums or kits in my first year, and I'm blessed to have sold over 200.  One year later, I'm having a blast, living my dream, and fulfilling my mission -- to encourage others to preserve their pictures and tell their stories.

If you are where I was one year ago, be brave and listen to those whispers in your head.  You might just find yourself "doing what you love" next year....

Please visit the "Do What You Love" website today...I'm so excited that Beth decided to share my story on the first anniversary of Artsy Albums.  Go check it out and read other inspiring stories of  women who have taken the leap :)
