Card Organizing Album & 12 So Much Pun Cards

Hey friends! Coming up with an idea for my latest kit titled Sending Hugs was a lot of fun. It forced me to think outside the box. Although I don't make a ton of cards, I do love them. I think my crazy addiction for creating mini albums usually wins every time. But today, I've combined the two and made an organizer album WITH cards ... twelve cards! Take a look ...

I love this idea! It's an album with pockets for general, birthday, get well, congratulations, and thank you cards. I designed it with Doodlebug's So Much Pun collection, which was perfect with all the adorable odd & ends and chit chat pieces.

Here's the pocket for birthday cards. This dinosaur just kills me ... so stinkin' cute!! And tucked inside, two great handmade cards that someone will love.

Check out the new Petite Prints Floral and Graph I used as a background on each page. I love the tone-on-tone colors with the subtle flower print.

A pocket for get well cards. The die cut pieces totally make this album. The box of tissues, the pill bottles, and those 2 little pills in the top corner, lol. So cute!

And a pocket for thank you cards! What Doodlebug project would be complete without sprinkles? Here, I used them on that adorable gumball machine. They just add a little something to every project, right?! ;)

I loved creating this album and all 12 cards and I think you will too! Hop over to my shop to see more.

Update: This kit has sold out but the instructions are available in my shop. They are simple, step-by-step, and include full color photos of each page. Links for the instructions and the products used are below. Happy scrappin'!

School Card - August Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to Lori Whitlock's August Blog Hop! My blog is the first stop on the hop so ... if you are starting here, be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too for more great projects and ideas.

School started here in Georgia and my granddaughter's first day of 2-year old preschool was this past week. With her first day on my mind, I decided to create one of Lori's adorable pop-up box cards called School Bus (link below).

This would be so cute for a teacher, a friend or a school bus driver!

I used most of the pieces that came with the cutting file, but I decided to change it up just a bit with a few stickers. The cute little bus and fun sign are both stickers from a paper collection that Lori designed for Echo Park called Back to School

The printed gold colored paper that my card is sitting on is from this collection as well and blue background paper is from the Back to School Solids Kit.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I've add the product links for this project below. Enjoy the hop!!
