Butterfly Kisses Spring Scrapbook Mini Album

Hey sweet friends! It's time to share my next Doodlebug Design Team Project and this one was made with the beautiful NEW Butterfly Kisses Collection! It's a mini album that's filled with pretty colors, cute little butterflies and bees, and a fun mix of spring flowers. I titled this scrapbook Happy Looks Good On You and chose a bright pink Mini Album in bubblegum. This color is soooo good! Doesn't it looks amazing with the green ribbon and the cover's pretty embellishments?

Sometimes, more is more ... so, I added the Just Charming Clip and Keychain for an extra little detail. These can be used on a purse, a tote, or a keychain, so ... why not on a mini album? It's such a fun accessory and the enamel colors are beautiful!

I think this cover is so cute! I love the collaged look. It's actually a title sheet from the new 6x8 inch paper pad. I just added some extra die cuts from the Bits & Pieces and popped them up with foam tape for dimension.

Inside, I added lots of fun interactive elements like the "Love This Life" tri-fold card above. It opens up to reveal 3 sections (6 front and back) that are covered in pretty pattern papers, lots of flowers and butterflies, and photo mats. 

Check out these cute papers! The polka dots are so whimsical and I love the colorful print filled with flowers and butterflies. I added a flippie on top for extra photo space and finished the page with a rainbow sticker.

Doodlebug added six new 3.5" x 5" tags to its 12x12 Happy Thoughts paper. I used the yellow one on the page above and it makes a great journaling spot! 

I love creating pages that are different sizes and shapes. Here, I made a tall skinny page with a journaling card and some pretty embellishments. Perfect for notes, dates, names, locations, or ... a memorable story!

This album would be perfect for saving pictures of everyday moments with family and friends, spring, fun Easter memories, church gatherings, and also Mother's Day.

You could also use it for a spring bridal or baby shower, birthday celebrations, date night, anniversary, gardening, fun at the park, or a wonderful spring break vacation.

I added so many fun elements to this album ... like this flippie on top of a fold-out page! The little front door is so cute. And happy accident ... the wreath matched the flowers on the page behind it! So pretty.

You know I love a pocket page and this one is loaded with useful goodies. I added three 3.5" x 5" tags, a 3x4 card, and a 4x4 card. These are great for journaling or can be used as photo mats.

12x12 Easter Bunny Scrapbook Page with Lori Whitlock

Hi crafty girls! Today, I have a cute 12x12 Easter scrapbook page to share with you. I made it using two of Lori Whitlock’s pretty cutting files and the Doodlebug Design, Bunny Hop Collection. Since Easter is this Sunday, I thought a fun layout would be perfect for a few holiday photos of coloring eggs. Take a look ...

This sweet bunny rabbit is the star of this page! I just 🩷 her little flower crown. So, let's start with her ...

I used Lori's adorable 5x7 Easter Bunny Card 4 File and a colorful mix of solid card stock. I assembled the pieces, then added some Simple Stories enamel dots to the flowers for sparkle. (Links below)

She's so cute ... she deserved a close-up! 

Next, I chose another one of Lori's cutting files called 4 Spring Borders (link below) to make this pretty scalloped piece. Now ... time to build the page! 

To begin, I chose the Springtime Stripe pattern paper as the base. Then, I added bubblegum card stock at the top and the scalloped border in the middle.

In the top corner, I adhered the "coloring", "eggs", and flower die cuts from the Bunny Hop Collection along with more enamel sprinkles. And for the journaling spot, I used 3 punches by Marvy Uchida and EK Success to make this. I chose a 3" scallop circle, a 2.5" circle, and a 2.25" circle, then layered them all. (Links below)

Next, were the photo mats. I cut 2 out of limeade paper and added more die cuts, dots, and the "Happy" tab.

As a finishing touch, I gave the bunny 3 colorful egg die cuts to hold on to, and ... she's ready for Easter! Yep ... she and her carrots are pretty cute. 🥕🐰🥕

12x12 Happy Birthday Scrapbook Page Layout

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing the third project that I created for the Marvy Uchida catalogue using one of their fabulous punches. I shared my Thank You Card and Tag Shaped Mini Album already. Now it's time for my 12x12 Happy Birthday Scrapbook Layout that's filled with bright colors and fun pattern papers!

I made this with the Marvy Uchida Clever Lever Mega square punch (pink one) and the Bella Blvd, Birthday Bash Collection (links below). I love all the cute prints in this collection and thought this design would really allow me to feature them all.

To start, I used the 12x12 print titled Burst as the base. Then, I cut a white sheet of Bazzill cardstock to 11.5" x 11.5" and layered that on top.

Next, I used the punch to cut out 21 squares that measure 1 3/4" each. I divided the page in half diagonally and arranged the squares in rows. This kept the page simple and ... appealed to my need for organization and symmetry. Win, win! 😂

For the two photo mats, I used the red polka dot print titled Balloons For You and trimmed them into 3.5" squares. Then underneath, I added the Happy and Birthday die cuts from Doodlebug Design's Over the Rainbow Chit Chat (links below).

To finish the page, I added the birthday cake and star die cuts from the Birthday Bash ephemera. The larger cake has a tall candle in the center so I added one of Doodlebug's mini jewels to it for a little sparkle.

I hope this layout gives you some inspiration for your next project. The Marvy Uchida punches can help create fun designs with big impact, and ... so easily! I use them in tons of projects and highly recommend.

Easter Egg Carton Shaped Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey guys! It's time for my next Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's an Easter mini album in the shape of a cute little egg carton! I made it with the colorful Bunny Hop Collection and the Egg Carton cutting file. What a fun keepsake & a great gift idea for someone's Easter basket! 🐰🩷🧺

 

To make this, I started with the album's covers. I used my Silhouette machine to size the file to 6.75" x 4.75". I cut the shapes out of white acrylic, but you could also make them out of card stock or chipboard instead. Then, I covered the acrylic with pistachio Petite Prints in dot & stripe, plaid & polka dot, and solid. 

Next, I cut the eggs out of colorful 6x6 prints and added the bunny and chick mini icon stickers, flower die cuts from the Bits & Pieces, and the title from the Chit Chat. I 🩷 the bunny in her pink dress and bow!

On the inside, I cut 6 card stock pages to 6.5" x 3.5", giving me 12 total scrapbook pages to decorate. I covered each one in 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers. Above, I created a fold-out page for extra photo space. On the front, I added the 3x4 card from the Chickadees print and inside ... more die cut pieces, the sun mini icon sticker, space for 2 photos, AND a print filled with bunny shaped Easter peeps!! 

This next page is covered in the 6x6 paper titled Bunny Hop. It's one of my favorites with its sweet images of chocolate bunnies, chicks, flowers, carrot cars, houses, and Easter baskets. The die cut is from the Chit Chat.

Here's another fold-out page. I covered the front in the pretty pattern paper titled May Flowers, then added die cuts from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat. And, inside the fold out ... 

 ... a sunny yellow plaid print called Spot of Spring, more Odds & Ends die cuts, and space for 2 photos.

Time for a pocket page! I embellished the front with the This & That scalloped border sticker and a pretty bouquet of flowers from the Bit & Pieces. I added some Hello Spring enamel shape sprinkles on top for a little shine, then added a few 3x4 cards for journaling / photo mats. 

This cheerful paper collection is perfect for highlighting pictures of family, friends, Easter baskets, coloring eggs, a church event, Sunday brunch, holiday decorations, an egg hunt, and photos with the Easter Bunny. 

Speaking of the Easter Bunny, this Hippity Hoppity paper above is great! Their little faces are so funny! 

In this photo, I added the pink side of the 12x12 May Flowers paper, the green Spring Sprouts paper, and the colorful floral side of the same May Flowers pattern, but ... in the 6x6 size! I love every layer.

Look how cute this album is sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. It's perfect for showing off your little works of art, AND ... they turn your scrapbooks into great holiday decor!
