Adventure Awaits Summer Mini Album

Hello everyone! It's time for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and today, I have a sweet new mini album made with the Summer Fun Collection and the Shadow Box Insert Kit. It's titled Adventure Awaits and the instructions are now available in my shop!

This cutie is filled with adorable summer images and loads of fun stickers. It's makes an amazing keepsake for pictures of a vacation, the beach, fishing, swimming, a cruise, and everyday fun!

Adventure Awaits Scrapbook Instructions

I wanted to use the colorful insert kit, so I chose my white 8x8 inch Acrylic Circle Window Album that I specifically designed to fit these sticker collages perfectly. 

On the front, I added a fun little detail in the corner. I tied a bow on the book ring and added the Little Charmers crab called Coral. How cute is that?

The first page is the collage that I created with the Summer Fun Shadow Box Insert Kit. The kit comes with a circle template, card stock, vellum and tons of colorful stickers. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it, and ... you end up with this amazing little piece of art!

The next page is made with the 12x12 Catch a Wave acetate. It's transparent with a wave pattern but tinted in the swimming pool blue color. Won't it make a cute layout with a few photos on the front and back?

The album also has 12 white card stock pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 1 pocket, 3 flippies, and space for 35 photos. 

I covered each page in a beautiful pattern paper and added lots of cute embellishments. The floral paper above is a gorgeous blue color that looks great with the polka dots and plaids. I created a cute flippie and added a journaling card to the front. It's a perfect spot for dates, names, locations, and events.

This page ... oh my goodness! Those little sea creatures are precious. What a cute layout for photos of swimming, the beach, collecting seashells, a sand castle, the pool, fun rafts, colorful swimsuits, boating, fishing, and warm sunny days!

Here is one of the fold-out pages. It has a great journaling card and 4 photo mats for your pictures. 

Did you notice the 3 little patterned tabs on the edge of some of the pages? Just another fun little detail that I love. They look great and you can use them to turn the pages. 

This collection is so colorful and pretty, but it's even better in person! There are sand castles, seashells, fish, and palm trees to highlight your beach memories. Suitcases, an airplane, a passport, room keys, and a cute PINK hotel for your travel photos. And a cruise ship, sailboat, and anchors if you prefer to spend your time on top of the water, instead of in it. 😂
