For the album, I used a 6x8 inch Simple Stories Flipbook. On the cover, there are pretty summer colors, scallop borders, and the cutest little bee family! And check out the sign on the front of their home.😉

 

Inside, there are 20 scrapbook pages that include 2 pockets, 7 fun little flippies, and space for 50+ photos. 

Just look how happy the page above is! I love the green bee and flower paper in the background, the flippie on the front, the pocket in the back, and all those fun tags!! So many goodies and so ... much ... cuteness.

Aren't these colors fresh and pretty? Feels like summer with sunny yellows, sky blues, and grassy greens.

On this page, I added 2 flippies with space for 4 photos. Perfect for pictures of your favorite people, backyard fun, neighborhood get-togethers, your garden, a BBQ, and family home memories.

Next up, a fabulous pocket page. I added some photo mats made with cute pattern papers and die cuts, but you could also use this space for journaling or memorabilia. Add greeting cards, invitations, notes from a loved one, pressed flowers, or tickets to a fun event.

This mini would make a wonderfully "un-bee-lievable" gift idea. That is ... if you can part with having it for yourself. 😉

Berry Sweet Wallet Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing my next Doodlebug Design Team Project. It's a wallet shaped mini album I made with the adorable Berry Sweet Collection. If you love interesting little scrapbooks with lots of interactive elements, you're going to have fun with this! It's perfect for photos of family, friends, and everyday moments.

The wallet design is one of Lori Whitlock's cutting files called Wallet Mini Album (link below). I used white card stock for the base and covered the different sections in pretty pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad.

On the cover, I used the pretty Strawberry Fields print and the red and white polka dot paper. I punched a white 3" scalloped circle and a 2.5" polka dot circle, then added the adorable Strawberry Shortcake Doodle-pops on top. I love her with those tiny daisy flowers!

Inside, I added the pretty swimming pool gingham paper, 2 scalloped border stickers from the This & That, the "Just For You" die cut, and a cute strawberry icon sticker. I also glued a tiny flat magnet underneath.

On the lower flap, I used more of the red and white polka dot paper, the round strawberry basket sticker from the This & That, and glued a second magnet underneath to keep the 2 flaps together when closed. To finish it off, I added the "You're berry sweet" title from the All The Things Die Cuts.

Here's what the wallet looks like when the 3 sections are extended. How cute are these Berry Sweet papers and embellishments?! Swimming pool and ladybug are my favorite colors so this collection is perfect for me! 

In the center, there are 2 tri-folds that open to the left and right. After fussy cutting a white card stock mat around the This & That "love grows here" sticker, I adhered it to the left side ONLY so that I could lift it up from the right side. 

When you open the tri-folds, each one has 6 little sections (front and back) giving you 12 spaces total for photos and embellishments. I decorated mine with cute papers, stickers, and cards.  

On the left, I used the cake icon sticker and the "sweetest things" card from the 6x8 paper pad.  

And on the right, the "love you" card from the 6x8 paper pad and the strawberry tea cup icon sticker. So cute!

In the center behind the two tri-folds, there's a 4x6 inch section. I added a lined card with a beautiful strawberry wreath. It's also from the 6x8 paper pad and it's the perfect spot for documenting dates, an event, location, names, or some notes.

 

The bottom section has 2 little pockets that I tucked some die cut pieces into. You could add journaling notes to the back side of these, or ... use the pockets for small photos or memorabilia. 

 

Have you gotten one of my clear Acrylic Display Stands yet? They show off your mini albums, greeting cards, and other small projects beautifully. AND ... they practically disappear into the background, allowing your little work of art to be the star! ⭐

I had so much fun making this wallet shaped mini album with the cute Berry Sweet Collection. It's super versatile and can be used to highlight photos of almost anything!

Spring Purse Shaped Scrapbook Album and Instructions

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing a beautiful new Spring Purse Shaped Mini Album project that's perfect for almost any photo. It's made with the same acrylic album that I used in my Blooming Wild Album from last year. And on Friday, I'll be adding the instructions for BOTH and the acrylic album to my shop!! 

For this new version, I used the colorful Bella Blvd Just Because Collection that's filled with flowers, butterflies, birds, birdhouses, bees, and rainbow stripes. It's so pretty and wonderfully generic, so ... it's perfect for photos of spring, summer, or everyday.

Every handbag needs a pocket, so I added one to the front and filled it with some die cuts that can be used for journaling or photo mats. The pocket's flap has a magnetic closure so they will stay neatly tucked inside.

The album has 10 scrapbook pages and it includes 3 pockets, 2 fold-out pages, and space for 20 photos.

Here is one of the fold-out pages. On the front flap, I added a photo mat and cute beehive embellishment. Inside, lots of spring flowers and space for 2 more photos.

Isn't this pocket page cute? I love the colorful stripes. I made a pretty tag and tucked that inside for 2 photos. Then, I added the flower stand die cut. Since it's white on the backside, it makes a great journaling spot.

This would make such a bee-utiful handmade gift. Whether it's for your friend, sister, mom, babysitter, neighbor, or teacher ... I think they'd love its unique shape and pretty paper collection.

Ooooo! This mini album would also be a perfect for women who love to buy and collect beautiful purses. 

Here's the acrylic album. It's made of high quality 1/8" thick white acrylic and comes with 2 binding rings. It's approx. 6.5" x 7.25" including the handle and the inside pages are 6.5" x 4.5". There are 16 scrapbook pages (8 double-sided) that include 2 fold-outs and 2 pockets.
