Father's Day Lake Life Mini Album with Lori Whitlock

Hi friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's May Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site too because she has a sale and more great products for you!

With Father's Day this weekend, it's a great time to make something special for dad. So today, I have a fun new mini album project for you! I've added the instructions for it (and 1 premade mini album) to my shop. I used one of Lori's amazing SVG files to create the perfect title for this lake themed album titled Happy Father's Day.

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

To start, I chose Lori's card cutting file called "5x7 Pop Up Card Father's Day Fishing" (SVGSilhouette) and the Bella Blvd Lake Life Collection (links below). It was the perfect marriage!

I also used my Acrylic Clear 6x6 Square Album. I cut the words and images out, then created a colorful scene on the first page. With the clear cover, the fabulous title looks great and it's protected underneath.

It's cute, right?! For the clouds, the fishing pole, the (red) fish, and the "Happy Father's Day" I used solid card stock and a few pattern papers from Bella Blvd. Then, I added a couple of die cuts to fill in the empty spots.

Inside, I added 12 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-outs, 1 pocket, 2 flippies, and space for 20 photos.

This album would make a great keepsake for dad's memories of spending time on the lake, a rustic cabin, boating, cooking on the grill, fun with friends, catching fish, and telling tall tales!

Above is one of the fold-out pages with the "together" card, a tackle box, and a heart. Open it up and ...

... there is a colorful plaid paper with 2 photo mats for pictures of dad's boat, his favorite fishing spot, and the catch of the day!

If you have your own lake photos and don't need a Father's Day gift, you can easily change out the title and make this mini album for YOU! Inside, it's wonderfully generic and all about the great outdoors and fun at the lake!

Don't forget the finishing touch! My clear Acrylic Display Stand is a great way to show off this colorful mini album filled with favorite lake and fishing memories. 🐟🎣❤️
