Hello crafters! Who's ready for a fun and different way to save their pictures? For this week's Bella Blvd Design Team Project, I created a scrapbook photo crate with Bella's colorful Documented Collection. Inside, I added lots of cute file folders, tags, and pocket pages that will hold your favorite memories!
To make it, I started with a 6.25" W x 4.5" D x 4" H black wooden photo crate by 7 Gypsies. It's perfect for all the little "pages" I made, but you can also tuck memorabilia in between. Add a recipe, brochure, business cards, a small map, a room key, a postcard, an invitation, a ticket stub, or ... a meaningful greeting card.
To decorate the slats on the front, I added two 5/8" strips from the colorful Be Happy paper. Then, I used a 3.5" scallop circle punch and a 3" circle punch to create the shape in the center. (Product links below.)
Next, I embellished with a few stars from the Trinkets Puffy Stickers, the number 25 from the Luna Alphabet Puffy Stickers, and some fabulous die cuts from the Ephemera Icons. And at the bottom, the "Snapshots" piece from the Ephemera Words fit perfectly!
Inside, I created 10 "pages" in different shapes and sizes that have space for 30 photos. Above, I'm holding three 4x6 file folder pages that were made with pretty patterns papers called Hello, Real Life, and Be Happy.
I adhered a cute tab from the Ephemera Words on the top of each file folder and for this one ... a few Trinkets in pickle juice. These add a fun little detail and some texture to the project!
I also used lots of die cut pieces, stickers, and ribbon on the pages. I love how they extend off the top edge and create so many interesting shapes.
Here's a better look at all the different pages. They include (2) folded 3x4 cards, (3) 4x6 file folders, (1) 4x5 tri-fold card, (1) 6x5 pocket page, (1) 6x6 page, (1) 5x7 page, and (1) 6x8 double-sided pocket page.
This is the 4x5 inch tri-fold card. I made it with the 12x12 rainbow striped paper called Hello and added 5 white photo mats inside. Then, I decorated with more fun die cuts from the Ephemera Icons (links below).
Above, is the 6x5 pocket page. I used both sides of the 12x12 Currently Loving print to cover the white base, then added die cuts from the Icons and Words on the front. The tags and cards are from the 12x12 Daily Details print. They look super cute with the colorful ribbons, don't they?
This 5x7 page is actually a card that folds open with space inside for 2 photos. On the front, I added the 4x4 card from Daily Details, a striped binder clip die cut, and some black and white twine. On the back, more pattern paper, a large photo mat, and a cute typewriter die cut with flowers growing out of it!
This is the 6x8 doubled sided pocket page. I made it from white card stock and added the stripe and flower patterns on top. I added a tag and 3x4 cards from the Daily Details, and a photo mat for extra photos. I decorated with the scalloped circle sticker from the Doohickey sheet and the cup Icons die cut (links below).
On the back ... I created 2 photo mats and decorated with more die cuts. I added the round Doohickey sticker on the back side of the scalloped sticker and dusted the scalloped edge with powder so it wasn't sticky.
This is such a fun way to save photos and memorabilia! I hope this project inspires you to create something amazing with Bella's beautiful Documented Collection, Trinkets Puffy Stickers, and Luna Alphabet Puffy Stickers. Below are the product links, and ... happy scrappin'! 😊
