Baby Scrapbook Mini Album with Lori Whitlock

Hi friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project. It's a new baby mini album that I made with one of her awesome cutting files titled Baby Word Album (links below). Each letter is a page with space for your little one's sweet pictures. This is such a unique shaped mini that would make a wonderful gift or little brag book.

The album consists of 4 pages that layer on top of one another, spelling out the word "baby". I cut them out of white acrylic but you could make it out of cardstock instead. Then I decorated the album with the Echo Park Special Delivery Baby Boy Collection, also designed by Lori.

I covered the first "B" page in a pretty navy blue print from the 6x6 paper pad, then embellished with a cute giraffe sticker (from the sticker book) and a few puffy stickers.

 

Inside, I added the yellow 12x12 Baby Boy Signs paper, 2 small photo mats using the navy and cream solids from the collection, and embellished with more stickers.

For the BA page, I covered the B in a light blue solid and the A in the 12x12 pattern that's the backside of the 4x4 journaling cards. I love the little shooting stars! Then I added a photo mat and a sweet teddy bear sticker.

How cute is the precious paper on the photo mat? Tiny babies napping on the moon and little rainbows. Perfect for a picture of your sleepy newborn.

On the BAB page, I used the navy solid cardstock and a cute footprint pattern called Dream Big Stars. I created a mat using a 3" scallop circle punch and a 2.5" circle punch. The fox in the plane, the clouds, and the Hip Hip Hooray are stickers from the sticker book. And, the adorable stork is another puffy sticker.

On the back side, I added the pattern paper called Baby Boy's Animals that's filled with cute toys, footprints, and stars. Two more photo mats and a few more stickers finished it off.

On this last page, I used another solid paper and the Welcome Stork gingham print, 3 small photo mats, and lots of precious little stickers. The 2 foxes might be my favorite. So cute!

NEW! 12x12 Sweater Weather Fall Page Layout Kit

I designed these with the Echo Park, Sweater Weather Collection and loved it so much in the mini album, I just had to make 12x12 layouts too! It has all the beautiful fall images you expect with pumpkins, leaves, flowers, bicycles, trees, and autumn colors.

These six scrapbook pages (3 coordinating double page layouts) include 1 pocket, 3 super fun flippies (see 1 above), and space for 30 photos. Yay! That's a lot of pictures for 6 pages!

Above, I added a fun little "belly band" that holds a cute photo mat / journaling card. The card has colorful polka dots on one side and a lined journaling space with a bicycle and falling leaves on the back.

These fall scrapbook pages are a great addition to any 12x12 album and their archival quality makes them the perfect place to save your favorite photos.

Add pictures of family, friends, everyday moments, a visit to the pumpkin patch, a vacation, a fall festival, hay rides, corn mazes, fall decorations, time at a winery, a farmer's market, Thanksgiving, special dinners, fun in the kitchen, and homemade apple pie! 

Check out this fabulous little flippie. It's surrounded by autumn colors and pretty falling leaves. Inside, I added a cute cinnamon gingham print. Love it.

And last but not least ... the handy dandy pocket! I love the saying on it and the pretty little pumpkins. I added some journaling cards inside but you could also save extra photos or memorabilia here instead.

12x12 Fun At The Park Scrapbook Layout

Hey sweet friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team project that's a cute 12x12 scrapbook page that I made with the colorful Fun at the Park Collection. I've used this line in so many fun projects, most of which had a Disney theme. But, this layout is a little more generic and could be used for photos of summer, a road trip, or ... the "best day ever"! 

To make it, I used the 12x12 You Are Here paper as the base and layered white cardstock on top. 

Next, I cut out 19 diamond shapes using different 12x12 pattern papers. The diamonds are approx. 2" wide by 3" tall so this was a great way to use up some of my scraps. Once I arranged them on the page how I wanted them, I adhered them to the white cardstock.  

I love folding elements on a scrapbook page that allow for more photo space, so ... I added a flippie. I covered it in the 12x12 Mini Dot paper and embellished it with a cloud, palm tree, and car from the Odds & Ends. The cute little sunshine is a mini icon sticker. 

Inside, there's space for two 3.5" x 5.5" photos. I added pictures of the kiddos at Disney World but really, this page could be used for any fun photo!

And last but not least, I added a few more die cut pieces across the layout. I used 3 word bubble pieces from the Chit Chat and a seagull, sunglasses, and heart from the Odds & Ends.

I love summer but the heat in Georgia is rough. Not a breeze to be found, but ... I know cooler days are ahead and I'll be ready with this pretty new autumn scrapbook.

Sweater Weather Scrapbook Instructions

I designed it with the fabulous Echo Park, Sweater Weather Collection that's filled with earthy colors, leaves, pumpkins, apples, sweaters, sunflowers, acorns, and pinecones. Yep, sounds like a new season to me!

I also created a new custom 6x6 inch white acrylic album. It has 3 square cutouts on the cover that allow cute embellishments and pattern papers to peek through. 

This mini has 12 scrapbook pages that include 1 fold-out page, 2 pockets, 4 interactive flippies, and space for at least 30 photos. Inside the front cover, I've included a lined journaling card so you can add dates, locations, names, an event, the holiday, or some travel plans. 

On the page above, I added a flippie with a card that says "Tis the season for quality time with family and friends". I agree and this mini album would be perfect for those pictures of a family gathering or reunion, a birthday, an anniversary celebration, a special dinner, or a fun game night at home.

Autumn's crisp air and bright colors encourage us to get outside. So, grab your camera (phone) and enjoy a hike, a winery, a farmer's market, picking apples, a family bike ride, a BBQ with friends, a backyard bonfire, and time with your favorite people. Those memories would be beautiful saved on these pages.

Fall is also a great time for a road trip. Take the scenic route and admire the brilliant fall foliage. If you collect memorabilia, this pocket page is a perfect spot for a few pressed leaves, postcards, tickets, brochures, a small map, or a room key.

Check out this fun scrapbook page! First, there's a pretty flippie with space for 2-3 photos. You can journal or add a photo on the white space and inside, there's room for 2 more pictures. Then ... the olive green part is also a folding element that opens to reveal pattern papers, more photo space, AND another flippie! Yay!

You could also use this album for photos of Thanksgiving Day. Add pictures of family, friends, the holiday decorations, cooking in the kitchen, pumpkin pies, the turkey, and your perfectly set dinner table.

This scrapbook is great for ANY autumn vacation whether it's to a national park, a small town, big city, or totally new place. 

But, if you're staying local, there are lots of fun things to do that will fill up these pretty scrapbook pages. Spend the afternoon at a fall festival, go on a hay ride, get lost in a corn maze, visit a pumpkin patch, or have a picnic in the park.

This would also make an amazing hostess gift. With its fall colors, leaves, and cute title this album would look amazing displayed on a coffee table or a book shelf year after year. Speaking of displaying ... did you notice my clear Acrylic Display Stand in the photo above? NEW! Oh By Golly Christmas Scrapbook Album

Hey friends! I'm so excited to share this week's NEW kit with you. It's Christmas in July here at Artsy Albums and my beautiful Oh By Golly Mini Album will be available in my shop this Friday. It may be a little early, but when you see this collection ... you'll understand why I couldn't pass it up. I'm so, so in love with it!!

Isn't she pretty?! In my scrapbook world, this ... is my happy place. I designed the album with the wonderful PhotoPlay, Sugar Plum Collection that's filled with my favorite colors of teal, pink, blue, green, and red. I also used a 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder in robin's egg and it was a match made in heaven.

On the cover, there are snow covered houses, candy canes, holly leaves, and berries. I also added an acrylic circle with a Christmas tree cut-out and tiny enamel ornaments. How cute!!

Inside, there are 20 beautiful scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 4 flippies, and space for at least 70 photos. Yowza! This mini album can hold ALL of your December memories!

Here's a fun little detail. Above, I created a tiny pink door that opens up for two small photos. Or ... you could use it to journal adding dates, locations, names, or an event.

This is one of the scrapbook's two folding pages. The light pink is so fresh for the holiday and I love the nutcrackers, candy canes, ornaments, and cupcakes!

With two pockets, there's extra room for photos, journaling cards, or holiday memorabilia like ... a sweet letter to (or from) Santa, tickets to a show, special Christmas cards, recipes, gift tags, a program from a school or church event, or an itinerary from your holiday travels.

Add pictures of decorating the Christmas tree, a visit with Santa, a holiday show, a lights festival, your beautiful home (inside and out), baking holiday cookies, a cookie swap, decorating a gingerbread house, a party, caroling with friends, wrapping gifts, and Christmas day!

I love this gate-fold scrapbook page. I added a whimsical teal paper covered in scribbles and a festive nutcracker to stand guard at the entrance. Inside ...

... there are candy canes and more colorful nutcrackers! I also added a lined journaling card on the left for documenting your traditions, Christmas lists, a recipe, a meaningful moment, story, or an event.

If you travel on (or around) Christmas, add photos of your holiday vacation. Are you visiting family, going skiing, renting a cabin in the mountains, seeing New York Christmas window store displays, visiting a Disney Theme Park, or taking a cruise? They all sound great! ... Can I come? 😉
