Merry & Bright Christmas Scrapbook Album, Simple Stories

I realize everyone is thinking about fall, and pumpkins, and Halloween these days ... and I'm not usually one of those people that starts planning for Christmas far in advance.  But when I received the Merry & Bright collection I fell in love with the colors and was eager to start a new project!
The binder album is part of the Merry & Bright collection.
The outside of the album is really pretty by itself, but I added a green ribbon, a few chipboard pieces, and some gems to give it a little shine.

I've been wanting a Christmas album, with just a few photos from each year, to set out for the holidays. Since I have older photos, the creams in this collection really worked well.  This is my son, 27 years ago!
I used papers from the 6x8 paper pad for this album.  I love the interest and fun that pages like this Santa add to the album.

I also used a combination of divided photo sleeves and full 6x8 pages.  The full page design allows me to play with lots of fun papers and embellishments.
On the page above I used stickers, bits & pieces die cuts, and chipboard.
The binder comes with add in pages that include the pocket above.  I decided to use the pocket to store a few Christmas cards but extra photos, holiday recipes, letters to Santa, and gift lists would all be perfect in this pocket!
I have a long way to go to get my album ready for the holidays but this collection is so much fun to play with I'm looking forward to documenting all of the other years!   Thanks for stopping by!
