Perfect Summer Waterfall Scrapbook Album

Hey guys! It time for my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project. Recently, I found a bunch of awesome cutting files on Lori's site and I knew a summer mini album was calling my name. So, I created this adorable waterfall scrapbook titled Perfect Summer. Check it out ...

This fun cascading album is one of my favorite new digital cutting files from Lori called Tiered Album Ticket (link below). She has several of them and they all have different edges. If you got each design, you could mix and match scallops, zig zags, pennants, and lots of other cute edges!

The Perfect Summer Day title is a cut file called 2 Summer Titles. I love the fact it's made with different colored papers layered together. Then, I chose the super fun Echo Park, A Perfect Summer Collection to decorate the whole mini album with.

On this first page, I added the cute pink and red cherry print and a photo mat made from white card stock and green Chevron Lines paper. Then, I embellished with a few chipboard stickers.

I wanted to add a pocket so I created one using Lori's cutting file called Library Pocket with Tab. It's the perfect size for tucking one of the 3x4 journaling cards in. The flower is a cutting file called Layered Flowers Set 2. And I finished the page with the summer memories sticker from the 12x12 alphabet sheet and 3 chipboard stickers.

Here, I added the diagonal stripe in the background, the red wood grain photo mat, and the 3x4 So Much Fun card. I love that this collection mixes so many fun generic prints that can be used for almost anything. In my album, they're perfect for highlighting photos of the beach, pool, a vacation, and warm weather activities.

I always enjoy adding small details to a page. They just make me happy! So above, I chose the little chipboard camera sticker and added the enamel brad for the lens. Cute!

I love the chipboard wave sticker with the cute fish print. But, I only adhered it on the edge where it touches the fish paper and not the photo mat. This way I can slip my photo underneath without having to put adhesive on my picture.

Every album needs a little journaling space so I added this lined card to the page. It's a great spot to document your favorite memories, like ... long sunny days, the beach, finding seashells, homemade ice cream, backyard fun, swimming in the pool, neighborhood BBQs, and picnics in the park!

This sunshine is a Lori cutting file called Chevron Edge Set. I loved the shape and it went perfectly with the papers in this collection. And last but not least, the August title is another cutting file called 12 Months.

I hope you liked this mini album that's packed full of great cutting files. Thanks for stopping by the blog. Below are the product links used to make this fun project. Have a great day and happy crafting! 😊

  1. Oh me, oh my!!! This is too cute! I love everything about it. On a funny side note I just made a layout with these papers this weekend using that same exact title. ;)

    1. I don't think I changed the size of the cutting file Renae. It should be the same size as you pull it up in your cutting machine. Approximately 5.5"x8" ...Hope this helps
