It is a mild, but rainy, Atlanta morning, and I am watching the news about the snow storms up north. Although too much snow is not easy, or safe, a little snow now and then is fun and reminds me of my middle school years in Chicago, waiting for the school bus, in my cheerleading uniform (back then we weren't allowed to wear sweats with our uniform skirts to keep warm) and the snow would be 3-4 feet high! No boots were allowed either -- just my saddle shoes and bobby socks! Ha! I would freeze!
But living in Georgia where snow is rare, has me and my boys wishing for the occasional snow day. We had a few last year, and we took lots of pictures!
I enjoyed creating a new mini album kit focused on winter days, the occasional snowman, and for those of you up north, the beautiful white blanket that covers the earth during this season. Here is a sneak peek of the latest Artsy Album kit being added to the shop this weekend -- this kit includes a full 12x12 collection pack from Echo Park, called Winter Park, a 6x12 cascade chipboard album by Bo Bunny, and lots of fun ribbon and embellishments. This peek shows a stamped snowman image that is included for paper piecing in the kit. So cute!
If you are interested in creating this album yourself, you can purchase the kits (or the completed sample) in my Etsy shop here: www.artsyalbums.etsy.com. Look for their availability in the next few days. I will have 5 kits available -- if you want to reserve one, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
