It's A Boy Baby Acrylic Scrapbook Album

Hi friends! It's time to share Jodi Berg's fun new scrapbook project that uses one of my acrylic albums and a super sweet Doodlebug collection. She designed it with Doodlebug's Special Delivery Collection that features soft pastel colors and sweet images of baby supplies, toys, clouds, stars, the moon, trains, animals, buttons, and more! (Links below.) 

For the album, Jodi used my 6x6 inch Acrylic Peek-a-Boo Stars Album. It's made with a soft blue acrylic and has star shaped cutouts on the front cover. She said ... "I just love that it has little peek-a-boo spots for embellishments or pictures of the new baby. What a great way to highlight their first photo."

Enamel sprinkles are one of my favorite embellishments and Jodi added lots of cute clouds and stars to the front. Love them! Then, she layered strips of fun pattern papers along the bottom. 

Inside the cover on the first page, she added a colorful gingham print, a yellow rick rack border sticker, and little paper grommets to the binding holes. Then, she chose some die cuts, cut two star shapes out of the petite prints, and sewed around them with embroidery floss. So cute!

Here's a close-up. Jodi said ... "I added hand stitching for texture and to give that handmade feel." I 💛 that.

Look at this page. How clever is this? She created a really cute dresser using 6x8 petite prints - linen and gingham and woodgrain in bon bon. She added enamel dots for the knobs, then tucked a bunch of adorable die cuts into the drawers!

She said ... "The dresser was created with rectangles and layers. I just thought it was a fun and easy way to create an embellishment for the album."

This layout is the inside of one of the fold out pages. Jodi added a cute yellow polka dot print, 2 photo mats, die cuts, and hand stitched the center of the stars. She also included some monthly pieces so you can document the wonderful changes your baby makes along the way. 

Here's a sweet page for photos of baby's meal time. Jodi layered two prints and added more hand stitching along the top and bottom. She used yellow card stock and a 2" scallop circle punch to create a mat behind the "Lunch time" die cut from the Chit Chat. Perfect!

Ohhhh, what a cute layout this is. Jodi used the petite print buffalo check in grey for the background, then added swimming pool cardstock and the cute Nighty Night cloud print. She embellished with die cuts from the Odds & Ends and added more hand stitching around the cloud. Finally, she made 2 photo mats and included the "love you to the moon ... " die cut from the Chit Chat.
