Spring St. Patrick's Day Mini Album with Box

Hi friends! Today, I'm sharing a fun spring and St. Patrick's Day scrapbook project with a step-by-step VIDEO tutorial (see below). Since my Doodlebug and Lori Whitlock design team projects fell on the same day, I combined a cute paper collection with a fun cutting file to create this adorable mini album in a box. ❤️🌈🍀

For the paper and embellishments, I used the Doodlebug Design Lucky Me Collection. It's filled with the cutest spring flowers, clovers, leprechauns, rainbows, bluebirds, and bright happy colors. Love it!

For the cut file, I chose Lori's 5x5 Album With Box (links below). It includes score lines for easy folding and binding holes for the ribbon. The album and box are a great size and can be designed with ANY collection. 

To start, I cut the base out of white cardstock, cut the pattern pieces out, then assembled it (see video below).

The album has 12 scrapbook pages (6 double-sided) that I covered with 12x12 pattern papers. I added lots of colorful die cuts from All The Things, some shiny enamel dots, and photo mats in different sizes.

In this photo you can see the pretty green ribbon I used to bind the pages together. I love the simple layout on the left with its cute ladybug and red polka dots! And on the right, I created a fun little flippie with a 3x4 leprechaun card. Perfect for a few extra photos.

Here, I used another 3x4 card on the left as a photo mat and added some fun die cuts. On the right, more die cuts for St. Patrick's Day and some yellow enamel dots that mimic the gold coins. How cute!

I hope you like today's project. It's a great little scrapbook for photos of spring, Easter, St. Patrick's Day, and everyday memories. AND ... it comes with it's own box! NEW! Hello Friend Scrapbook Album Kit

Happy Wednesday! Who's ready to see this week's new scrapbook kit?! I finally got my hands on the new Simple Stories collections and this one is pretty great. It's a beautiful mini album titled Hello Friend that will be in my shop on Friday. It's perfect for pictures of your bestie, your partners in crime, your posse, your favorite gal pals, or family that feels like best friends. 

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Doodlebug Design binder in bumblebee yellow and the fabulous Simple Stories, Pink Lemonade Collection. It's so lovely and filled with citrus colors, spring flowers, butterflies, strawberries, lemons, and cute gingham patterns.

On the cover, I added layers of pretty patterned papers, foam stickers, enamel dots, cardstock stickers, and a cute polka dot ribbon tied in a bow. Lots of cute details and dimension!

Inside, there are 20 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 7 flippies, 5 pockets, and space for 58+ photos on the layouts and in the clear page protectors. Above, I added a fun flippie with an extra little page inside with room for 3 photos.

I love this page. Not only is it filled with fun patterns, but also ... photo space! I created a pocket and tucked 2 colorful photo mats inside. Then on the front, I added another multi-layer flippie with space for 4 more pictures. The flippies are getting fancier. 😉

How cute is this library pocket? The playful flowers just make me so happy. I turned it on it's side so I could add a photo mat below it, then added a folding card inside for more pics with your bestie or a few notes.

On this page, I added another small pocket ... that is ALSO a flippie! Save little mementos inside like tickets, tags, business cards from a fun activity, or a hotel key card from a girls weekend away. Then, add a picture under the flap!

This scrapbook is all about friendships so you can add memories with you and your one ride-or-die best friend, a special group of girls that you're close with, different friend groups (from college, work, pickleball, mahjong, etc.), or photos with family that feel like they're your best friend (sister, mom, or a cousin). 

This album also has two pocket pages that are larger so you can add photos or memorabilia. Here are a few suggestions ...

• favorite recipes you and your friends have shared
• greeting or thank you cards
• tickets from a concert, movie, sporting event, or charity event
• postcards from a trip you both took 
• labels from your favorite wine or champagne

Home Is Where Your Honey Bee Scrapbook Album

Hello everyone! Today, I have a cute NEW scrapbook project for you filled with bees, bears, and bee-utiful blooms! It's a mini album titled Home is Where Your Honey Bee and it's perfect for lots of different photos like family, spring, baby, and more. The instructions for it will be in my shop on Friday. Take a look ...

I created it with the adorable Doodlebug Design, Bee Happy Collection. I absolutely LOVE this line - it's so incredibly versatile. I also used my black 8x8 inch Acrylic Square Circle Window Album that I specifically designed for Doodlebug's Shadow Box Insert Kits.

The album consists of two 8x8 inch covers made of high quality 1/8" acrylic and 4 binding rings. It also has 6 cardstock pages that include 3 plain, 2 fold-out, and 1 pocket - all with pre-punched binding holes.

Here's a close-up of the Bee Happy Shadow Box Insert Kit. Isn't it the cutest?! The kit comes with a circle template, cardstock, vellum, and a fun mix of colorful stickers. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it, and when you're done ... you end up with a spectacular little collage!

The album has 12 pages (6 double-sided) that include 1 fold-out page, 3 pockets, 5 flippies, and space for at least 32 photos. Above, is one of those flippies. 

Well actually, it's a trifold flippie. I used three cute 4x4 cards to create it and it has room inside for 2 pictures.

I 💛 this pocket. On the front, I added a journaling card that's great for notes, dates, a location, an event, an itinerary, or a fun and meaningful story. Then, I tucked a colorful photo mat inside and added a little bee.

This scrapbook is perfect for photos of home, spring, Easter, family gatherings, fun with friends, Mother's Day, summer, gardening, a birthday celebration, and everyday moments. You could also add pictures of a bridal shower, a baby shower, and new baby photos. This cute theme is so flexible!
