OOAK I Love Travel Scrapbook Album

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a fun weekend. I spent time in my scrapbook room making a travel themed, one-of-a-kind mini album titled I Love Travel. It's not available for purchase, but I thought it was just too cute not to share. Perfect for a little inspiration if you have vacation photos that need a home!

I designed this with two colorful Bella Blvd collections - Time to Travel and Tiny Tots 2.0. I also used a teal 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder album and a pretty green ribbon from May Arts.

This travel album is so versatile and can be used for all types of vacations. Whether it's a sight-seeing trip, a weekend in the city, a cruise, a cabin at the lake, a beach rental, or a visit abroad ... this album is great for all your adventures. 

Inside there are 22 pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 5 flippies, and space for 60+ photos!

I love to mix up papers with different pattern sizes. Above, you'll see a large AND small rainbow stripe, the teeny tiny polka dot, and the sunshine paper with a medium sized print. So fun!

I also love a good pocket. They're perfect for saving little tokens that you pick up along your travels like ... postcards, hotel stationary or key cards, a matchbook, travel stickers, brochures, tickets, a small map, a menu from your favorite restaurant, business cards, or foreign currency.

How cute is that little "Just Go" license plate sticker? What a nice reminder that we should all should take time off, travel, go sight seeing, spend time with loved ones, explore new places, and enjoy life.

I always add plenty of space for journaling so you can include stories or simply document the details. Be sure to add dates, location, names of hotels, the sights you saw and important facts about them, the people you traveled with, and any funny moments you want to remember.

This one-of-a-kind mini was such a fun weekend project for me. I hope it gives you a little inspiration and you take the time to document your own travel adventures. Someday, you'll be so glad you did.💕

If Friends Were Flowers Scrapbook Album

It's Friday, the weekend's almost here, and I have a brand NEW album to share with you. What a great day! This one is titled "If Friends Were Flowers" and it's in the shop now. This beautiful scrapbook is all about those people closest to you that make your lives happier, richer, and way more fun. I'm talking about your friends. It would be perfect for photos of just you and your bestie, or ... all of your favorite friendships.

I designed this with a 7.5 x 7.5 inch Graphic 45 Tri-fold Waterfall Folio Album and a pretty paper collection called Serendipity designed by Becky Moore for PhotoPlay. This one is filled with happiness! There are bright colors, butterflies, flowers, leaves, rainbows, a lemon slice, gumball machine, hearts, and so much more.

The front is covered with pretty flowers, a super cute title, and fun little details like the flower & leaf die cuts, buttons, and twine. The album also has a sunny yellow polka dot ribbon on the side.

This tri-fold style album measures 7.5 x 7.5 and opens up to reveal 3 panels and a pocket page in the center. (Scroll down to see photos of just the album.) The first panel on the left is a cute plaid side pocket (above).

It has these 2 adorable cards inside for photos. Each one can hold 5 pictures. Yeah, five! There's a flippie on the front that can hold 2, the space inside can hold 2 more, and then 1 on the back!

The page in the center (above) is one large pocket page so you can add more photos or memorabilia, like ...

• recipes you and your friends have shared
• greeting or thank you cards
• tickets from a concert, movie, sporting event, or charity event
• postcards from a trip you both took 
• labels from your favorite wine or champagne
  
• party invitations
• the program from a play
• the small card that comes with flowers
• or business cards from a spa, restaurant, salon, cafe, hotel, or fun activity that you've both enjoyed

Next up are the two pretty waterfall features - one is vertical and the other is horizontal. Both have a magnetic flap closure that securely holds your photos in place.

 

Here's a look at the album without all the pretty papers and embellishments. It has a bunch of fun elements - the side pocket, the large center pocket page, and behind that ... the waterfall features

 

This mini makes a perfect keepsake for pictures of your special friendships. You can keep it for yourself or give it as a gift for a birthday, holiday, or ... just because they mean so much to you.

Dinosaur Themed Scrapbook & Fun Ideas for Kids

Hello everyone! Today, I have a new one-of-a-kind mini album to share with you. It's titled Be Fierce and it's adorable! It's perfect for a little boy or girl that loves dinosaurs, prehistoric times, and being fierce! Did you know that the name dinosaur comes from the Greek words for “monstrous lizard”? These creatures have been extinct for about sixty-five million years but they are amazingly popular!

I created this scrapbook with a 6x8 navy blue Simple Stories binder and the adorable Echo Park Dino-mite Collection. I love the color palette with shades of blue, green and orange. AND ... what a great title! So encouraging and supportive - especially if this is for photos of your little one.

This would make a wonderful, handmade baby shower / new baby gift for a family with a dinosaur themed nursery. Oh, I love that idea and those crazy little dinosaurs above!
