Happy Monday!! I'm sharing a project over on Lori Whitlock's blog today and I wanted all of you to also get a peak into my latest mini album. For this one, I used a cutting file by Lori called Box Card Lantern (links below).
For this mini, I cut the cover shape out of acrylic, but you could easily use card stock. I used the cutting file for all of the fun pieces on the cover. How cute are the mushroom and pumpkin pieces?
In addition to the cut file, I also used the Doodlebug Farmer's Market collection. These bright fall colors with the unexpected pop of purple just make me so happy!
For a little shine I added a large Doodlebug jewel to the candle flame, and some enamel dots to that cute little sprig. Ladybugs? Yes, please! They represent good luck across many cultures so I had to include a few!
Hmmm...this page is a little crooked Traci! LOL!
I added 4x4 photo mats to each page, included adorable die cuts, and more enamel dots. This is why I like minis ... I get to incorporate ALL THE THINGS!
Look how cute this mini album is sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. It's perfect for showing off your amazing projects, they make great decor, and ... they're filled with your FUN memories!
I hope my project inspires you to think outside the "box card". Not only do you get a wonderful card with Lori's cutting files, you also get the chance to turn the pieces into mini albums, or add the pieces to a scrapbook page! Have fun crafting friends!!
