Bee Happy Scrapbook Mini Album and Instructions

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and this time, I made a fun acrylic mini album titled Sweet Memories. AND ... I've added the instructions for it to my shop! 🎉 This cutie is filled with busy bees, mushrooms, daisy flowers, and pretty summer colors. It's the perfect little project for photos of summer, spring, a vacation, family, friends, a celebration, and everyday moments. 💛

Sweet Memories Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with one of my 4.5" x 7.5" clear Acrylic Scallop Edge Albums and Doodlebug's adorable Bee Happy Collection (links below). This album was really fun ... sooo many cute embellishments!

On the front cover, I created the scallop shape to highlight the "Sweet Memories" title, then added lots of little stickers, die cuts, and shape sprinkles. I love the bee 🐝spooning honey out of the hive. 

Towards the bottom, I added the 3D flower and bee stickers from the Bee-Utiful Garden Doodle-pops. Did you notice the acetate wings on the bee? How fun is that?!

Inside, there are 12 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-outs, 2 pockets, 4 flippies, and space for 20 photos.

The pages above show some of the fun elements. On the left, I added a flippie with space for 1 photo and underneath, I added a pocket with some cute tags tucked inside. Then on the right, I made a fold-out page with a journaling card on the front that's perfect for notes, dates, names, events, and locations.

Here, I added a photo mat and another flippie. Isn't that plaid paper pretty? Such great summer colors. It's a perfect spot for pictures of backyard fun, family and friend gatherings, a summer vacation, a BBQ with neighbors, gardening, and spending time at the beach or lake.

Check out this cute pocket. You could add extra photos or memorabilia here like - tickets, a favorite summer recipe, pressed flowers from your garden or special event, a postcard, notes, a seed packet, a business card, or a brochure from a fun activity.

The Bee Happy Collection has so many pretty pattern papers. I layered them throughout the album and punched circles from them for the scallops on the back cover.

 

I love this colorful little tag. With the cute bumble bee die cut and some black chunky twine, I think it adds a lot of interest to the page.

This mini looks so cute sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. Not only does it create a wonderful accent and conversation piece in your home, but ... it also shows off your fun summer memories and awesome crafting skills!
