Happy Friday everyone! It's my favorite day of the week where I get to share my newest album kit and ... today's is awwwesome! It's a perfect project for the upcoming new year and would make an amazing Christmas gift for someone special.
This pretty mini, titled "For the Record", is a monthly scrapbook/planner and perfect for documenting the events that happen throughout the year. It was created with the Echo Park - A Day in the Life collection and a 6"x8" navy blue Simple Stories binder.
I've been creating so many fun holiday albums lately that this was an interesting new theme to work on. It had me thinking about the upcoming year and I can't believe it's right around the corner!
There are 24 scrapbook pages and 4 journaling pages in this album, for a total of 28 pages. Each month has a title page and lots of space for photos, planning, journaling, taking notes, writing schedules and documenting the highlights of the year.
This is a day planner and a scrapbook all in one. So, it's a memory planner! Hmmm ... I'm not sure you always plan memories but sometimes ya do! Sometimes they're just happy accidents, but either way you can have fun documenting it all in a crafty way with this fun kit.
The Echo Park collection I used has a pretty color palette - feminine but not overly girly. It
has flowers, a few geometric prints and rainbows. To give it the
"planner" vibe there are lots of lined journaling spots and images of
typewriters, office supplies, and cameras. Super cute!
And speaking of cameras
... there are tons of fun flippies, pocket pages, and cute fold-out
elements for photos of your favorite events that happen each month.
Imagine making this for
someone and giving it as a handmade gift for the holiday. Not only is
it fun for you to create, but it's a really meaningful present for the
recipient. You took the time to create something that hopefully, they'll
treasure for years. They're happy and you look like a total boss this
Christmas. 😉
