Custom Mini Album with My Mind's Eye

Today I'm sharing a mini album using My Mind's Eye "Notable" paper collection.  This is a custom order for a client who requested an 8x6" album with specific detailing.  She sent me quotes and words that she wanted sprinkled throughout the album, and she chose this paper collection from several photos that I sent her.

Having Fun with a Color Challenge at Life.Paper.Scrapbook

Today I'm sharing a sweet mini album that I'm entering into Life.Paper.Scrapbook's June Color Challenge.  If you aren't familiar with this wonderful Australian quarterly online magazine, it's great eye candy for the scrapbook world!

Ribbon and Tape and Twine, Oh My!

July 4th Mini Album with Bella Blvd

Happy 4th of July friends! I'm sure many of you are spending today at parades, festivals, picnics or just hanging out with family and friends. Be sure to take lots of great pictures because I have a super cute star-spangled mini album to share with you today. Take a look!

I made this with the wonderful Bella Blvd collection called "All American". I really, really love the papers and embellishments, especially the chipboard stickers. The album is so colorful with all the cute ribbons and I love that this great collection shows through the clear acrylic album covers.

 

I had so much fun arranging the chipboard circle stickers. I made sure they would peak outside the edges of the album. They look cute from the front and the back and add more interest when the album is closed. I love them!!

Okay, y'all know I have two boys (men really...at ages 22 and almost 19) so whenever I get a chance to play with pink and polka dots, I really have fun.  Carta Bella's Alphabet Junction collection really brightened up my day yesterday -- these colors are so cute!

If you have a little girl...or know someone that does...you have got to get this adorable mini album!  It's full of cute sayings, precious patterned papers, flowers, and ribbons!  It really is one of my favorite kits this summer.

July 4th Table Decorations with Lori Whitlock

Hi friends! With July 4th coming soon, I thought it would be fun to make some table decorations that are perfect for the holiday. Today, I'm sharing a little red, white, and blue inspiration using some Lori Whitlock cutting files to create popcorn boxes, pinwheels, and name place cards! 

 

These decorations are great for Independence Day but you could change up the papers and colors and make them for any occasion, like ... a birthday party, summer fun, a Halloween themed movie night, fall / Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

 

To make these, I used my Silhouette Cameo machine to cut out the adorable popcorn boxes. The stripes on the boxes were perfect for July 4th and I also added a few of her 3D spiral stars to really make them festive. (Cutting file links below.)

To add to the patriotic theme, I added some cute firework place cards to my table. These are easy and fun to make. I just cut some white card stock to 4×6, folded them in half, and added Lori's awesome fireworks (link below). I can’t wait to finish my guest list and make more.
