Recipe Circle Scrapbook Album with Doodlebug Design

Hello scrappers! Have you had a chance to play with the Doodlebug Shadow Box Insert Kits yet? These kits make round, sticker-filled works of art that I'm totally in love with, and today ... I have a fun project that uses one! It's a cute recipe album that uses clear page protectors on the inside to hold 4x 6 inch recipe cards.

For starters, I designed a new white Acrylic Rectangular Circle Window Album to accommodate the Doodlebug Storybook page protectors. It's similar to my Square Circle Window Album, but this one needed to be wider and longer to fit the clear pages.

I designed this album with the cute Made with Love Collection. I added the plaid paper titled Cupcake Cuties to the cover, the "Baked With Love" This & That sticker, and layered two of the utensil container icon stickers.

Look how FUN!! The Shadow Box Insert Kit comes with lots of cute stickers, enamel sprinkles, and (depending on the kit you choose) rhinestones to create an amazing collage. You place each sticker on a sheet of vellum with the help of a template behind it. Then, remove the template and voila ... art!

Inside, there are twelve 8x8 page protectors that hold 4x6 cards. You could continue to add more pages to this album over time, just be sure to get larger binding rings. If you purchase my Acrylic Rectangle Circle Window Album, it includes the package of 12 page protectors & two 1" rings.
