12x12 Living the Dream Summer Scrapbook Page Kit

Happy Wednesday! Today, I'm sharing this week's new 12x12 layout kit that will be available in my shop on Friday. It's titled Living the Dream and has EIGHT colorful scrapbook pages filled with the Doodlebug Design, Summer Fun Collection! They are perfect for your sunny memories and make a great addition to any album.  

A few weeks ago I introduced my Summer Memories Mini Album and after they sold out, many of you asked for 12x12 inch pages made with this amazing collection. So, I got to work creating these larger summer layouts filled with sunshine, beach scenes, adorable sea animals, flowers, and lots of Doodlebug cuteness.

I designed these 8 multi-photo layouts with room for 37 pictures so you can fit loads of fun memories on them of a vacation, the beach, swimming, building sand castles, and collecting seashells.

I love this little squid and her pretty pink color against this gorgeous blue background. With the colorful plaid paper and the tropical beach scenes, I can just imagine pictures of family, friends, and warm sunny days being saved here.

They're also great for everyday memories, backyard fun, summer camp, birthday parties, and neighborhood get-togethers. 

I've added lots of cute journaling spots so you can document important info like the date, location, activity, people, event, or ... a funny story of something that happened that you'll always want to remember. 

Oh my goodness ... tell me these cute pages don't just make you feel happy! Doodlebug's cheerful colors and cute little smiling faces always brighten my day. 

And to all my scrapbooking friends out there that love to attend crops ... my kits make fun and convenient projects to take with you. Almost everything you need to create these 8 scrapbook pages is included, and ... organized by page! You just need to bring adhesive and a few small tools (scissors, a standard hole punch, etc.) It's a great way for beginners and experienced scrapbookers to jumpstart their next project.

Crafty Fun Things Scrapbook Album and Instructions

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing a pretty mini album I made titled Crafty Fun Things. I've just added the one-of-a-kind pre-made scrapbook AND the simple, step-by-step instructions to the shop. This album is perfect for pictures of crafting with friends, a weekend retreat or crop, an expo, or your scrapbook room!

I designed this with the pretty Simple Stories, Crafty Things Collection (links below). It has a pastel color palette, gold foil accents, flowers, and lots of crafting supplies, so ... it's great for all types of crafters.

I also used my Clear Acrylic Vertical 6x8 Album. It comes with 2 covers made of a sturdy 1/8" acrylic, 3 binding rings, and 8 white card stock pages that include 4 plain pages, 2 fold-out pages, and 2 pocket pages.

I designed this album to have 12 pages that include 2 fold-outs, 1 pocket, 1 flippie, and space for 20+ photos.

I covered the pages in colorful pattern papers from the 6x8 paper pad, then filled them with lots of fun embellishments, like die cut pieces, chipboard and foam stickers, rub-ons, brads, and enamel dots. 

This scrapbook is great for other creative memories too, like crafting with your children or grandchildren, or participating in groups that create art (drawing, painting, sculpture, photography), textile arts (sewing, knitting, crochet), pottery and ceramics, jewelry making, and paper crafts. So, no matter what your creative outlet is ... this album works.

You could also add photos of your studio / crafty space, the creative ways you organize your supplies, or your amazing projects.

Enjoy The Simple Things Mini Album with Bella Blvd

Hello friends and happy Saturday! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and YouTube Video (link below). This week, the designers were asked to create something fun using a Bella paper collection and the mood board below as inspiration. 

Look how pretty! I love the flowers, the stepping stones, and that cute little hedgehog, so ... I chose the Bella Blvd Just Because Collection. It's not only one of my favorites, but it was perfect for this project. 

Here's was I came up with ... a mini album titled Enjoy The Simple Things that uses my 8x8 Acrylic Peek-A-Boo Circles Album. I thought the circle cut-outs mimicked the stepping stones on the mood board. 

This little scrapbook is cute, colorful, and wonderfully generic so it's perfect for photos of summer, spring, family, friends, everyday moments, your sweet pet, and any type of fun celebration!  

The highlight of this cover is for sure this adorable hedgehog. She's a Bella Pops sticker titled Just Be You and she's so stinkin' cute! I love her little flower crown so she had to go in the largest circle. 

Inside, there are 16 white scrapbook pages and I covered each one in a colorful paper from the 12x12 Just Because Collection Kit. In the photo above, I added the rainbow stripe and a blue gingham photo mat, then embellished with some die cuts from the Ephemera Icons (product links below).

I love adding interactive and space-saving elements to my projects so this album has 2 fold-outs, 3 pockets, and 2 flippies. Above is one of the fold-out pages. I used the fun rainbow print in the background, the cloud paper on the flap, and the colorful polka dots for the photo mat. Then inside ...

... I made a fun little pocket! I used the floral border Doohickey sticker to line the top edge and tucked some cute tags inside for journaling. 

This pocket page is a bit bigger and can hold lots of goodies. I added some cute cards and a tag shaped photo mat with an adorable bow from the Ephemera Words. But it would also be great for saving memorabilia like ... a postcard, tickets to an event, an invitation, a brochure, or a special greeting card.

I love the cute daisy print on this layout. It feels fresh and cheerful, and ... there's a pocket. Well, sort of, lol! I added the flower die cut in the corner and adhered only the outer edges so I could tuck some photo mats into it. So ... it's pocket-ish! 😂

Doesn't this mini look cute sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand? It creates a wonderful accent and conversation piece in your home, displays your fun summer memories, AND ... shows off your awesome crafting skills!

Adventure Awaits Summer Mini Album

Hello everyone! It's time for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and today, I have a sweet new mini album made with the Summer Fun Collection and the Shadow Box Insert Kit. It's titled Adventure Awaits and the instructions are now available in my shop!

This cutie is filled with adorable summer images and loads of fun stickers. It's makes an amazing keepsake for pictures of a vacation, the beach, fishing, swimming, a cruise, and everyday fun!

I wanted to use the colorful insert kit, so I chose my white 8x8 inch Acrylic Circle Window Album that I specifically designed to fit these sticker collages perfectly. 

On the front, I added a fun little detail in the corner. I tied a bow on the book ring and added the Little Charmers crab called Coral. How cute is that?

The first page is the collage that I created with the Summer Fun Shadow Box Insert Kit. The kit comes with a circle template, card stock, vellum and tons of colorful stickers. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it, and ... you end up with this amazing little piece of art!

The next page is made with the 12x12 Catch a Wave acetate. It's transparent with a wave pattern but tinted in the swimming pool blue color. Won't it make a cute layout with a few photos on the front and back?

The album also has 12 white card stock pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 1 pocket, 3 flippies, and space for 35 photos. 

I covered each page in a beautiful pattern paper and added lots of cute embellishments. The floral paper above is a gorgeous blue color that looks great with the polka dots and plaids. I created a cute flippie and added a journaling card to the front. It's a perfect spot for dates, names, locations, and events.

This page ... oh my goodness! Those little sea creatures are precious. What a cute layout for photos of swimming, the beach, collecting seashells, a sand castle, the pool, fun rafts, colorful swimsuits, boating, fishing, and warm sunny days!

Here is one of the fold-out pages. It has a great journaling card and 4 photo mats for your pictures. 

Did you notice the 3 little patterned tabs on the edge of some of the pages? Just another fun little detail that I love. They look great and you can use them to turn the pages. 

This collection is so colorful and pretty, but it's even better in person! There are sand castles, seashells, fish, and palm trees to highlight your beach memories. Suitcases, an airplane, a passport, room keys, and a cute PINK hotel for your travel photos. And a cruise ship, sailboat, and anchors if you prefer to spend your time on top of the water, instead of in it. 😂

NEW! The Best Day Scrapbook Mini Album Kit

Happy Wednesday! Who's ready for a peek inside this week's exciting NEW scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday? This is a FUN one! 

It's titled The Best Day and it's made with the new Simple Stories, Fun Times Collection. While this paper collection has a carnival theme ... I chose to use the embellishments that were slightly more generic so it can be used for a variety of different photos. It's great for a carnival, theme park, or a fair, but ... it's also wonderful for birthdays, family celebrations, an arcade, a party, or a beach boardwalk! 

I used a 6x8 inch Doodlebug Design binder in swimming pool. It might look a little different than my other projects since I extended the paper and embellishments across the entire cover. It's so cute, right? 

Inside, there are 20 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 5 flippies, and space for 40++ photos on the layouts and in the clear page protectors. 

So colorful. I just love it! This is one of the fold-out pages. On the front flap, there are rainbow stripes and room for a picture of "fun times". Open that up and there is a folding card inside with a Ferris wheel and the saying "All Around Fun For All". Inside the flap, are 2 more photo mats, string lights, and a camera. 

See? These pages can be used for a carnival or theme park ... OR any type of fun celebration like a birthday, graduation, a Bat or Bar Mitzvah, a cute baby shower or baby naming, or even a corporate or charitable event! 

Did you take a vacation to a boardwalk this summer like Atlantic City, Coney Island, the Santa Monica Pier, Wildwoods, or Santa Cruz Beach? Do you have upcoming plans to visit one? The summer's not over yet!

I love this pocket page. The striped paper in the background, the balloons floating off the page, the journaling cards with the tickets, and the fun little camera. It's all so festive! 
 

This would also make a great gift idea for someone who loves color, fun activities, parties, games, carnivals / theme parks, or a circus theme. What about a wedding or engagement party with a colorful theme?
