Hi friends! Ready for an early peek into this week's NEW scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday? It's a gorgeous 6x8 inch winter themed mini album titled Chasing Snowflakes and it's perfect for this season's fun new memories. It's so beautiful with a sophisticated color palette and really lovely watercolor images.

I designed this with a Doodlebug Design binder and the Simple Stories, Fresh Snow Collection. It's filled with snowflakes, pinecones, flowers, cozy plaid patterns, and a cool color scheme of blues, greens, and browns.

On the cover, I added lots of pretty details. The deer, some snowflakes, and the "100% chance of snow" are actually rub-ons, which are so fun! Then, I also added stickers and glittery enamel dots.

I wrapped the front cover with a powder blue gingham ribbon and added a white acrylic snowflake as a finishing touch. Perfect!

Inside the front cover, I created a pocket straight away. I added some journaling cards, but it's also a great place to save memorabilia like ... an itinerary from your winter travels, tickets to an event, or notes.

The album has 18 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 3 pockets, 7 flippies, and space for 48 photos. There are also extra plastic pocket pages that come with the binder for even more pictures!

Here's a great fold-out page. On the left, there's a large mat that's perfect for a special photo of your children, the family, you and your spouse, etc. On the right, a smaller mat with hot cocoa, snowflakes, and flowers.

This album is perfect for a whole season of memories. Add photos of the 1st snow fall, a ski trip, winter landscapes, building a snowman, a vacation, an Alaskan cruise, family gatherings, fun with friends, hot cocoa, a backyard bonfire, or ... a bunch of wonderful, simple, everyday moments.

Above is another great pocket for items like ... postcards from your travels, an invitation to a winter event, a label from a favorite wine or champagne, a program from a school / church event or recital, a favorite winter recipe, and a child's drawing or sweet note. You could also add photocopies of a diploma, marriage license, or religious confirmation that happen this season.
