I designed this with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder in black and the fabulous Bella Blvd, EIEIO Collection. It has bright colors, adorable farm animals, and bright cheerful sunflowers!

I just love a black and white color scheme with red and green. Throw in a cow print and I'm so happy!

Inside, there are tons of interactive elements for extra space. On this page, there's a flip-up card that reveals a journaling spot, and then that flips up to add two photos!  How cute is that little cow?!

There are 20 pages (10 double-sided) including 2 fold-out pages and 2 pockets in this book.  There is space for at least 70 photos, and lots of space for journaling about your memories.

The kit comes with a full sheet of doohickey stickers so you'll have plenty of alpha stickers for cute titles or dates.  You'll also get a whole package of ephemera icons.  Aren't those little chicks adorable?!

This album could also be cute full of pictures of the littles or grand-littles.

I can see some darling pictures on this piggy page. The caption on the page says "A little dirt never hurt" ... I have some younger pictures of my boys that would have been perfect on these pages!  

Do you have horses or enjoy horseback riding? You'll have to add one of those photos on this page!

"Welcome Little One" Baby Girl Album

Hello my scrappy friends! I hope you're having a great week. Today, I'm hoping on the blog to share another OOAK I made in the past but never shared on the blog. Why .... I have no idea, lol. It's adorable and all about a sweet baby girl. So, for a little scrapbook inspo ... here's my "Welcome Little One" mini album.

I designed this with Carta Bella's Rock A Bye Baby Girl Collection and a 6x8 inch binder album. Wait until you see this paper collection. It gives me sweet nostalgic feelings with nursery rhymes from my childhood.

Just inside, there's a great first page for a photo of the moment baby comes home. I also added a journaling card for the date, home address, time, or the names of everyone that was there to welcome her.

Doesn't the striped paper on this page feel a little like a 1950's wallpaper in a baby's nursery? I love it and the cute Mother Goose scalloped die cut.

The next page has a wonderful pocket filled with the cutest journaling cards. They have nursery rhymes on them like this one ...

How cute and vintage-y is that!?! I love to use these cards as photo mats - just add your picture to the back side. Or ... use them to journal notes you'll want to remember.

This cute tag is from the frames & tags ephemera. I added the little mint green enamel brad for detail.

More vintage flair with the "Mother Goose and Bows" paper that lines the pocket and the ring around the rosy die cut on the front. For one of the cards in the pocket, I cut the shape of the tabs out in cream cardstock and made another photo mat.

I like mixing shapes on a page to make it more interesting. So here, I added a horizontal rectangular photo mat, a circle for notes, and the vertical rectangle with the Mary Mary card. A few tag stickers at the top tie it all together.

Check out this 12x12 double-sided paper from the collection called "Girl Nursery Rhymes". It's so cute. You can still find it and ... a few other pieces from this line HERE at Frantic Stamper.

Do kids still have any interest in these older nursery rhymes or are they more for us, moms and grandmothers who remember them from our childhood? Hmmm ... either way, this album is girly and precious and I loved making it! Just thought I'd share. 💕

Magical Vacation Disney Scrapbook Album

It's Friday and that means I have a new kit in the shop! This cute mini album is titled Magical Vacation and it's made with the adorable Doodlebug Design, Fun At The Park Collection. It's so, so fun and perfect for photos of a trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland.

This little scrapbook is 4.5" x 6.5" and made of sturdy black acrylic. On the cover, I've combined unique elements like the cute polka dot prints, a white acrylic rectangle, black and white twine, and the adorable mouse ears! Those layered details give this mini a nice chunky feel.

Check out the 3D Doodle-pops castle sticker right in the center. There's no mistaking what this album's theme is. I love the shine the enamel pieces add and ... look at that teeny tiny gate!

Inside there are 16 pages with lots of space for your vacation photos. This one is perfect for the family and friend group picture that everyone takes in front of the castle!

Love the cute "tickets" booth above. Does anyone remember when you needed paper ticket books to get on the rides?

Fun fact ... in 1955 at the opening of Disneyland, a single admission ticket sold for $1.00 (including tax!!). Then you could buy individual attraction tickets at ticket booths. Later that year, the coupon book was introduced that gave you admission to the park and 8 attraction coupons for $1.50-$2.50 total. Omg! Then, by 1982 the ticket books were phased out for the Passport that gave you unlimited rides.

Ok, back to the album! I've added 4 interactive flippes and 2 super handy pockets for extra photos, journaling, or memorabilia like ... your park map, character autographs, postcards, stickers, room key, or park pass.

These pages are great for pictures of the rides, your favorite characters, the amazing fireworks, the parade, Main Street, and all the fun you had with family and friends.

The pockets have lots of cute cards, tags, and die cuts to document your trip. Add your itinerary, rank the attractions, list your favorite restaurants and food, the weather, prices of tickets, and the hotel you stayed at.

2-Page Birthday Layout with Doodlebug Over the Rainbow

Hi friends! It's that time again where I get to share my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project. I often get requests in my Hive membership for classes on double-page, multi-photo layouts. So, today I'm sharing two designs that use interactive elements to give you more photo space per page!

I created these layouts with Doodlebug's Over the Rainbow Collection and gave them a spring birthday theme. But, you could easily change out the 3 birthday wishes and use them for ANY occasion.

 

For the first page, I used the Over the Rainbow striped paper as the base and layered four white 5.75" x 5.75" squares on top. Then, I cut 28 squares (1.25" x 1.25") out of pretty patterned papers and added them around the edges (product links below).

Then, I made 4 photo mats that are perfect for pictures of a birthday party, dinner, the cake, decorations, presents, and fun with loved ones. The mats are all 4"x4" and I turned 2 into flippies!

 

To make these flip-up cards, I cut paper into 4"x8" pieces and scored/folded them at 4". You can add embellishments to the front or a 4x4 card like I did in the photo above. It's from the Sprinkles of Color print but again, you can swap out the card and easily change the theme. 

 

For the second page, I added a strip of rainbow stripe paper down the left side to tie the two pages together. I also added 4 more photos mats and a cute spot for journaling. Use this to document the date, age, location, names, gifts, or just write about the fun event!   

Finally, I added the Hello Sunshine Doodle-Pops in the top corner. I love these 3D stickers and honestly, I tend to hoard them. So ... yay, I used one, lol!  

 

As it turns out, I created space for 10 photos on these 2 layouts. I'd say that's pretty good!  Thanks for stopping by the blog today and I hope I gave you some new 12x12 ideas!

I designed these with the Simple Stories, Wildflower Collection and they are b-e-a-uuuu-tiful!

This first page has so many pretty details. I layered different papers, floral die cuts, cards, and lots of interesting stickers.

Check out the little "Hello" stamps I lined up on the photo mat! With some foam tape on the backside, they add a little dimension to the page.

There are 3 numbered flippies (aka flip-up cards) and I lined them with a pretty floral paper. Each one has space for 2 pictures, so ... that means you can add 8 photos to this one page! 

My instructions will explain how to use a page protector so that you can open the flippies from outside of the plastic.

These layouts would also be great for photos of a spring festival, Easter, family gatherings, a visit to the park, a picnic, flying kites, feeding the ducks by the pond, a botanical garden, or a butterfly farm.

What about ... photos of flowers, nature, and gardening?! Add sweet pictures of an afternoon planting seeds or bulbs with the littles/ grandlittles. Add photos of your garden, new blooms, or vegetables. Perfect for ANY photo.

This layout is a calendar page perfect for small pictures and staying organized with your fun spring activities.
