Welcome to the Farm Tabbed Mini Album 1st Edition

Hello friends! Sometimes there's a collection that you just can't get enough of ... that's so fun to play with you look for excuses to take pictures. Doodlebug's Down on the Farm is one of those collections for me. So, I made a tabbed mini album with it titled Welcome to the Farm for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project!

Update: If you'd like the instructions for version #2 of this adorable album, click HERE.

I didn't grow up on a farm and I don't live on one now. But, everything about the patterns, embellishments, and cute little farm animals just make me happy. I mean, look at those die cuts and papers!

I added the farmer boy on my cover, but the girl farmer looks just as cute with her pink hat and braids!

I created this with a Doodlebug 4.6" x 8.5" Plain and Simple Tall Chipboard Album that I found in my stash and covered it with 12x12 pattern papers from the collection (links below).

I designed the tab labels myself using my Silhouette software. I found a wood sign file that I liked and then cut it up and altered it to add words for the welcome sign and tabs. (Links to cut files below.)

Those Odds and Ends die cuts!!  So much cuteness!

I can't wait to take my granddaughter to a farm or a petting zoo so that I have cute pictures to fill up this darling mini. Hope you are all having a wonderful, crafty summer!

July 4th Mini Album with Doodlebug Design

Hi guys! Can you believe it's already July? This year has flown by for me. But, I'm looking forward to the 4th and celebrating with my sweet family. For my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project, I made a mini album that's ready to fill with pictures of our BBQ, the local parade, and lots of fireworks!

I designed this with the Yankee Doodle and Patriotic Picnic Collections and mixed in some wonderful petite prints. The print on the cover is the Daily Doodles card stock in blue jean.

One of my favorite things about Doodlebug is that everything matches so it's very easy to mix and match collections, embellishments, and petite prints!

The silver foil on the Yankee Doodle die cuts is hard to see in photos but, trust me ... it's so shimmery!  Perfect for celebration projects.

Isn't this pocket cute? I cut it out of the reverse side of the Red Bandana card stock from the Down On The Farm Collection. Doesn't it work great in my July 4th book?

My favorite washi tape of all time might be the Ant Parade ... it's so cute!!

I hope I've given you a little red, white, and blue inspiration today! Have a wonderful 4th everyone!
