Hello Summertime Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello scrappers! I have a really cute scrapbook album for you today filled with flip-flops, popsicles, and lots of sunny pages. It's titled Hello Summertime and it's the perfect keepsake for your warm weather memories. It would also make a fabulous gift idea for family or friends!

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this album with the beautiful Carta Bella, Soak Up The Sun Collection. It will highlight your photos of a summer vacation, the beach, swimming in the pool, picnics in the park, backyard games, a BBQ, neighborhood parties, a lemonade stand, or enjoying ice cream on a sunny day.

The album is a perfect size at approximately 7x8 inches. You can take it with you to share your wonderful moments, set it out on a shelf, or display it on a coffee table.

I just love the pretty colors, summer themed papers, pockets, tags, and the envelope on the pages of this beautiful album.

There's a cute triangular pocket for saving journaling cards, extra photos, postcards, brochures, tickets, or a map from your summer travels.

The album has album has 16 heavy chipboard pages (8 double-sided) that include an envelope (see below), 4 pockets, 2 flippies, and space for at least 26 photos.

I love the envelope and the adorable embellishment! I added the sweet "summer treats" sticker to a round chipboard piece and a scalloped circle I cut from pretty blue paper.

Suitcase Mini Album - May Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hi everyone! Today I'm hanging out with Lori Whitlock's Creative Team for our June blog hop!  If you just stopped by, be sure to start the hop at Lori's site so that you don't miss any of the fun projects the team has to share with you!

For my project, I created a suitcase style mini album for Father's Day! I love the idea of giving photos as a gift. What dad (or granddad) wouldn't love that? The cutting file is called Hidden Binding Suitcase Mini Album (link below).

I love all of the pockets! I'm also excited about the more masculine paper line Lori designed for Echo Park called Petticoats and Pinstripes Boy Collection. It's a great collection for all of your "guy" projects. The "I (heart) DAD" title on the front is also another design in Lori's shop called I Love Dad (links below).

Now, back to Lori's blog hop ... your next stop is Kathy Skou!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Birthday Card Monthly Organizer Album

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project, which is also over on Doodlebug's blog here. The design team was asked to create a calendar or planner project so, I decided to make a Birthday Card Calendar Book. It's a great place to keep track of monthly birthdays and ... store cards and envelopes that are ready to send!

Birthday Card Monthly Organizer Scrapbook By Artsy Albums

First, I picked a color palette that I wanted to use and chose a lots of patterned papers from Doodlebug's different collections that matched. I created the two album covers out of white chipboard and made 6 pages out of white card stock.

I covered each page in a cute print and added a pocket to the front and back of each page. This gave me twelve pocket pages, one for each month.

On the pocket, I added pattern paper and a monthly sticker from the Daily Doodles Collection. I embellished with birthday stickers from the Hip Hip Hooray Collection but you could use any from your stash.

I added a list to the pockets to record the birthdays that are in each month. I made these on my computer, printed them off, and matted each with a colorful Swiss Dot paper. Next, add your cards and envelopes and you're all set!

This project was simple, fun and a great way to stay organized. Hopefully, I won't forget any birthdays! ;)

Below are links to products used. Some may be discontinued so I added some great Doodlebug substitutes.
