This fun album will make an incredible keepsake for your 2016 photos, memories, calendar, planning, to do list, journal ... you name it! It will make a wonderful scrapbook OR 2016 planner or both! The album has a beautiful green linen spine and is covered with paper and accents from Simple Stories. The scrapbook style pages include photo mats, brads, and chipboard embellishments with spaces for at least 20 photos, not to mention the space in the divided photo sleeves for photos. 

This album will make a wonderful gift for a friend, or to keep your 2016 photos, plans, goals, ideas, notes, or memorabilia in! The album is also a great size to carry in your purse for referencing, sharing, or note-taking.

Soccer Mini Album & Box with Doodlebug

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project made with the adorable soccer themed collection called Goal. If you love this sport, know someone who does, or have children that play the game ... you're going to have fun with this. I created a round mini album with a cute box to store it in! I love this idea, and ... you could also change up the paper collection and make this project in ANY theme.

Wouldn't this be a great keepsake for your child's soccer memories? You could save their team photo, action shots, and fun pictures with their teammates and coach. It would also make a unique gift idea!

To make this, I cut the pieces for the box out using thin white chipboard and my Silhouette machine. I covered it with some pattern papers from the Goal collection, the petite prints dot & stripe in limeade, and black and white card stock (links below). 

For the lid, I fussy cut the star from the 12x12 Goal paper and added lots of cute soccer ball sprinkles. Next, I adhered the soccer ball washi tape around the lid's edge, then glued chunky twine in beetle black to the top and bottom.

For the album, I cut out several black and white circles with my Silhouette and layered them along with some colorful prints from the 6x6 paper pad. On the page above, I added the oval "In the net!" sticker from the This & That sheet, an enamel dot in limeade, and a boutique button in lily white.

The This & That sticker sheet also has numbers so I added the 2015 year, a couple of enamels dots, and the cute "Goal" word bubble.

The paper called Soccer Field includes six cards and the "stats" card above is one of them. It's the perfect little spot to record some notes from your child's big game!  

On this page, I used one of Doodlebug's pixie sticks in beetle black along with the "score" sticker from the This & That sheet. I think it made such a great flag!

Family Favorite Recipes Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with the Carta Bella, Home Sweet Home Collection by Carina Gardner. There are aprons, kitchen utensils, baked goodies, strawberries, and a pretty mix of red, pink, aqua, and tan.

On the cover, I tied a big bow and added some cute metal kitchen utensil charms. I also included a few tags, some buttons, and twine.

 

Inside, there are 12 scrapbook pages that include 2 flippies, 2 pocket pages, and space for at least 20 photos. I've also added 12 clear divided page protectors for storing 48 of your own 4x6 recipe cards!

 
This project makes a wonderful keepsake for memories of your family's traditional holiday meals and favorite recipes. Doodlebug Calendar with Daily Doodles

Hi friends!  I'm super excited about a new project that I have posted over at Doodlebug Designs today.   It uses a brand NEW Doodlebug product AND lots of fun collections from throughout 2015.  Do you have some left over Doodlebug scraps or, do you wish you had a reason to use some of this year's adorable collections?  If so, I have a perfect project for you :)

When Doodlebug recently introduced Daily Doodles I was thrilled!  I'm a calendar girl.  I love documenting birthdays, holidays, fun family events, etc. so a calendar is a really fun project for me.

With Daily Doodles, and lots of this year's Doodlebug collection scraps, I was able to create a really fun calendar for 2016.

I kept the scrapbook pages VERY simple, and plan to focus on filling in the fun calendar next year.  Seriously ... how fun will this be with stickers, journaling, and adding dates and events, and little 2x2 pictures!!  I can't wait!  Here are a few pictures of my starting point:

There is a scrapbook page for each month (note: after the year is over I will slide these pages into a 12x12 scrapbook album!) and a Daily Doodles calendar page for each month .... 

How fun is this!!  I can't wait until 2016 so I can start filling it in!  I'm going to add family and friend photos to birthday squares, cute Doodlebug stickers on major events (like the Santa on Dec 25 above) and lots of adorable embellishments "just because" ...

Dec. 25th Christmas Album and 12x12 Layout Kits

I designed this album to be bigger and better than ever! I used the 6x8 inch Simple Stories Holiday Snap Binder and the beautiful Claus & Co. Collection. The big green bow and red sleigh bell added just the right holiday touch.

Inside, there are 14 scrapbook pages (7 double-sided) that include 1 fold-out page, 2 pockets, and 1 flippie. It also has 13 double-sided divided plastic photo sleeves giving this album space for over 68 photos in total.  

This wonderful Christmas scrapbook makes an amazing keepsake for your holiday memories of family gatherings, decorating the Christmas tree, special dinners, baking cookies, Christmas parties, opening gifts, a visit with Santa Claus, a church event, and Christmas day.

12x12 Christmas Memories Layout Instructions

Just like the album, I designed these layouts with the Simple Stories Claus and Co. Collection. I love its traditional colors, Santa Clause, holly berries, string lights, stars, ornaments, presents, and polka dots.

These 8 scrapbook pages (4 double-page layouts) have space for 26 photos and would make a great addition to any album.

Add holiday pictures of your beautifully decorated home, a fabulous show, a lights festival, church or school event, a cookie swap, a gingerbread house, caroling with friends, wrapping gifts, and Christmas day.
