Memory Game - February Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hello my friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's February Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site too because she has a sale and more great products for you!

For my project today, I made a cute Valentine's Day Memory Matching Game using some of Lori's wonderful cutting files. This is a fun little handmade gift for the littles or grandlittles that will also give you some quality, one-on-one time with them.🩷

I chose 3 cutting files called - 2 on 12x12 Heart Favor Box, Valentine Cute Stickers, and Valentine Stickers (links for them below).

The little favor box is adorable and I love the heart shaped handle. I used it as the box for my card game, but ... you could also fill it with candy, a gift card, jewelry, or a small toy.

I used white card stock as the base and covered that with the Color Vibe Tomato red paper by Simple Stories.

Then, I created my own stickers using printable white sticker paper by Silhouette.
If you've never used this sticker paper before, check it out .... it's so fun!

I picked 12 images from Lori's files and printed them on the sticker paper. Since it's a matching game, don't forget you'll need two sets of identical stickers to make the 12 matching pairs of cards. Then, I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the stickers.

Next, I made 24 red cards that were 3.5 x 4 inches. I backed each one with a cute red gingham print
called Picnic Memories from the Echo Park Fun on the Farm 6x6 paper pad. And finally, I added the stickers to them creating the 12 sets.

My grandkids and I love to play this game. I've made several versions of it for different occasions. To see those click >>>  dog, St. Patrick's Day, and spring.

There are more inspiring projects to see today, so ... be sure to hop to each blog for more great ideas!
