Oven Shaped Mini Album with Lori Whitlock

For my project, I made a cute little oven shaped scrapbook using one of Lori's cutting files called Hidden Binding Mini Album Oven (links below). It's perfect for saving a few recipes and fun memories from the kitchen. And, it would also make a unique gift idea for a baker or cook!

Just look how cute it is displayed on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. Wouldn't this be great sitting out in your kitchen filled with recipes, fun baking photos, or cooking memories? I decorated the album with Doodlebug's, Made with Love Collection but you could use ANY paper collection and match it to your home.

Here is Lori's awesome file. It comes with so many cute details on the front but I replaced a few of them with some mini icon stickers I found in the collection.

The album uses Lori's hidden binding technique to secure the pages. It's designed with plenty of space in between for adding papers, pop dots, and embellies. And the pages are sturdy and lay flat when closed!

For the base of the album, I used white card stock and for the front cover ... pistachio and mint (links below). 

I cut out 10 rectangular shapes, then sandwiched 2 pieces together on each spine fold to create the scrapbook pages. This gave me 5 double-sided pages in all.

Next, I decorated the front and back of each page with pattern paper, photo mats, and embellishments.

This mini is ideal for saving photos of baking with friends or the grandkids, cooking a special meal, your amazing food, your fabulous kitchen, and fun moments making recipes with family. 

And speaking of recipes, you could add those to this album as well! You could make a few pockets to tuck them into, or ... just add them to the photo mats in place of pictures.

This little Oven Shaped Mini Album was simple and so much fun! Lori has designed many of these Hidden Binding Shaped Albums and I love them all.
