Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and this is a fun one! I've been loving the Valentine's Day theme and was inspired by the cute rainbow icon in the Doodlebug Lots of Love Collection. So, I made a round acrylic mini album that fit that adorable rainbow perfectly!!
To make this, I cut two 7.25" circles out of white acrylic. However, you could easily use white cardstock instead. I chose a Doodlebug cutting file and paper from the petite prints dot and stripe for the rainbow. I added a row of shiny red hearts to the white band and some smiling clouds from the Odds & Ends.
Here, I made a flip-up element (aka, the flippie) with the mailbox card. It's perfect for 2 photos or a sweet love note. I used a smaller icon sticker for the packages ... doesn't it look cute next to the larger delivery truck?
These pretty rainbows and flowers make a sweet page for date night or a selfie with your littles or grandlittles.
I love mixing the pattern sizes in my albums. Above, I used the small 6x6 blue xoxox print for the mat. Then, I used the same print in 12x12 on the opposite page. It's cohesive and adds interest.
This album could be used for any celebration - a birthday, anniversary, bridal or baby shower! Hearts, flowers, & love. Perfect! Add pictures of the cake, decorations, and all the friends and family that were there.
This also would make a great gift. Think of your child that's in high school or college. They have lots of activities, parties, school events, and friends to document. What a fun keepsake for them.
This sunny yellow page has a subtle polka dot print that draws the attention to your wonderful photos and fun embellishments.
Here's another mat where I used a 6x6 pattern paper. Look how teeny tiny those rainbows are! So cute.
