St. Patrick's Memory Matching Game and Treat box

Hello everyone! Since tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day, I decided to make a cute project for my granddaughter, Rylee. She and I love to play the memory matching card game. I've made two for her in the past with a dog and a spring theme. They make great gifts and encourage fun, one-on-one time.πŸ’š

I chose one of Lori Whitlock’s adorable treat boxes to store the game cards in. The cutting file is called Heart Favor Box and I just love the cute shaped handle. This box has a simple design and comes together really quickly. I added a beautiful green ribbon and a few icon stickers from my stash (Doodlebug's Happy Go Lucky collection).

Bonus! This file allows you to cut 2 boxes from one sheet of 12x12 card stock so, you'll have an extra to use for another little gift. You can fill it with candy, a gift card, jewelry, or a small toy.

For the game cards, I cut sixteen 2.75" x 2.75" squares from green card stock, layered them with white card stock, and added lots of cute stickers. It's that simple! Since it's a matching game, just don't forget you'll need two sets of identical stickers to make the 8 matching pairs of cards. πŸ€πŸ€

This would also be a fun project to create with the littles on St. Patrick's Day. They would love choosing all the stickers and it's a great afternoon activity!

Below, I've added the cutting file and product links used to make this adorable project. I hope it inspires you to make a handmade gift of your own!

Wishing you a Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!
