Happy Fall Scrapbook Album with Bella Blvd

Hello friends! It's time for my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and today, I have a cute autumn inspired mini album to share with you. It's titled Happy Fall and I'll be adding the instructions for it to my shop soon. I'm still catching up after attending the She Loves Color Event so keep an eye out for them. Until then, let's take a look inside this fun new project! 🍂🌞🩵

I designed this with the fabulous Bella Blvd, One Fall Day Collection (links below). It has pumpkins, leaves, trees, butterflies, colorful flowers, and fall foods like turkey, pie, vegetables, fruits, apple cider and more.

I also used my 6x6 inch Acrylic Peek-A-Boo Circles Album in white. The front cover has circle cut-outs that allow pretty papers and cute embellishments to "peek" through! 

On the first page, I chose the aqua Fall Is A Flutter pattern for the background and added some circles (1", 1.25", 1.5", 2", & 3") punched from other fun papers in the collection. Then, I embellished with puffy stickers, Ephemera Icons, Ephemera Words, and two Bella-pops called Fall Favorite and Fall is Here (links below).  

The album has 16 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 4 flippies, and space for 32 photos. Above is one of the fold-out pages. I 🧡 this leaf print. It's called Leaf Pile and the colors are beautiful! I added the matching Thankful card on top and made it into a flippie with space inside for 2 photos. Open the fold-out page and there are whimsical trees, leaves, and space for more memories.

This is a perfect keepsake for photos of the changing leaves, family gatherings, Thanksgiving day, an autumn festival, fun with friends, apple picking, a fall vacation, a visit to a winery, a hike, your home decorated for the season, a farmers market, and lots more!

This would also make a super sweet gift idea. The unique acrylic album, the fun paper collection, and the fact that you handmade this makes it such a special present. Give it to a hostess for Thanksgiving, a friend for a birthday, a family member who's traveling this fall, or anyone ... for any time! 

On this page, I created a flippie out of the Fall Festival card. It has space inside for 1 photo and underneath, there's a larger photo mat, some puffy pumpkin stickers, and some die cuts. 

Every mini needs a great pocket page with journaling cards. Here, I created a pretty floral tag shaped card and embellished with another flower sticker from the Fall is Here Bella-pops. 

You can also save memorabilia here like ... greeting cards, a brochure from a fun activity, hotel room keys, an itinerary from your travels, postcards, a small map, tickets from a concert or fall event, an invitation, a gift tag, or a program from a school or church event.

Look how cute this mini album is sitting on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. These are perfect for showing off your fall projects. They make great decor, and ... they're filled with your FUN memories!

NEW! Bookish Scrapbook Album Kit

Hi friends! Ready for a peek inside this week's NEW mini album kit that will be in my shop tomorrow? I designed this beauty with the Echo Park, Bookish Collection. It's filled with books, flowers, typewriters, bookmarks, library cards, stamps, and loads of literary sayings. Perfect for people who ❤️ reading.

For the album, I used my Acrylic Clear Vertical Album. It's 6x8 inches and has 2 covers made of high quality 1/8" acrylic, white card stock pages, and 3 binding rings. 

On the cover, I added a pretty title card, some cute stickers, colorful enamel dots, and a sage green ribbon. The stamped pattern paper is the first page underneath the clear acrylic cover. 

The album has 16 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 10 fun flippies, space for 40 photos, and ... lots of custom journaling cards!  Above is a fold-out page with one inside (see below).

When you open the flap, I created this "Books To Read" journaling card. Most avid readers have a list of books they're excited to get to, so ... this page should help to keep you organized and on task.

More custom journaling cards ... the "Reading Tracker" can be used to set a number of books or pages to read each month. This visually tracks your progress and provides a tangible reminder / motivator to read regularly and stick to your goals. By checking the boxes, you'll feel a satisfying sense of achievement. 

Next up ... your favorite authors! If your a dedicated reader, it can be difficult to remember the hundreds of writers and their styles that you enjoy over the years. So, keeping a list can be helpful in guiding your future choices. 

The album has 2 handy dandy pockets filled with cute cards so there are lots of places to journal. Here are some ideas of things you can write about ...

Book Details

• Title, author, genre, publication date, and page count
• Dates that you started and finished the book
• Did you read a physical copy, e-book, or listen to an audiobook?
• A star rating or brief review of how much you liked it

Plot & Structure

• A brief summary of the plot or a timeline of major events
• Critical or favorite scenes and why they stood out
• Parts that you didn't understand, or aspects that made you curious enough for more research
• Guesses about what might happen next or how the story ends, written as you read

Characters & Themes

• The character's personalities, motivations, conflicts, and how they change throughout the story
• Identify recurring ideas, symbols, or messages in the book
• Descriptions of the location or time frame the story takes place in

Personal Response & Connection

• Your feelings and opinions about the book or specific scenes
• Favorite quotes that resonate with you
• How the book relates to your own life experiences, beliefs, or views
• Any important insights or life lessons learned 
• How the book compares to other books you've read by the same author or in the same genre.

BUT ... if you don't love to journal and want a simpler way to keep notes, I've added this custom page. It allows you to list the author and title, then give it a star rating. Easy!

Check out this pretty page! It's actually a folding card with space inside for 2 pictures. In your reading journal, you could add photos of ...

• a beautiful book cover or page
• your book club with reading friends 
• a book signing / picture with the author
• a special book store or library that you love spending time at
• a trip to a location mentioned in one of the stories
• your collection of books and interesting ways you've displayed them

Trick or Treat Halloween Tag Shaped Mini Album

Hi guys! Halloween is almost here and I'm so excited. I 🩷 this holiday with its creative costumes, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, and sweet treats. So many fun moments and lots of great photos to remember them by. So today, I'm sharing a new Halloween project that's quick, simple, and perfect for your spooky memories!

I created a new mini album with one of my favorites ... the Doodlebug Design Sweet and Spooky Collection! I love the pink and lavender colors, the star acetate, those cutie patootie puffy stickers, and all the adorable characters and patterns. Soooo, yeah ... I love everything about it. Lol!

For the base, I used my Acrylic Tag Shaped Album that I specifically designed to fit Doodlebug's cut apart 12x12 tag sheets. The album comes with 1 binding ring and 6 acrylic tags that are 2x4 inches and made of clear 1/16" acrylic. But, even though the shape fits Doodlebug's tags ... you could easily cut out your own from any paper collection.

Above, is the 12x12 sheet of tags I used for today's project. It's called Hello Sugar and I've added the product links below.

For the cover, I used the back side of one of the tags that was white with stars at the top. I added the Trick or Treat title from a 3x4 card that's part of the 12x12 Hallo-Weave paper, then embellished with the This & That orange scalloped sticker, the cute house mini icon sticker, and some puffy stickers.

Inside the cover, I thought that sparse little tree needed some zhuzhing so I added some tiny colorful dots from the Halloween Night shape sprinkles. The owl is an icon sticker that I popped up with foam tape. And, the next page is a tag I cut from the beautiful Stardust acetate (link below). You could add a photo to the front and back, or leave it as is! 

This page is boo-tiful. The pink color is so fresh for Halloween and the ghosts are adorable. I added a photo mat, the October This & That sticker, and the little ghost mini icon sticker. With a pop dot behind it, she looks like she's floating!

This next page is stacked with cuteness. The yellow tag has the pumpkin, cat, owl, and spider printed on it and I just added the matching icon stickers on top. See? This project is super easy. 

Don't forget a little page for journaling! Here, I adhered a piece of lined paper on top of the star covered tag. Then I added the squiggly pink This & That border sticker and the sweet little owl puffy sticker.

Wow, these colors and polka dots are giving me candy store vibes! I'm loving it and that tiny pink pumpkin!  On the other page, I made a fun shaped photo mat by using a 2.5 inch scalloped oval punch by Marvy Uchida (link below). Such a fun shape.

Don't forget about my clear Acrylic Display Stand. It's perfect for showing off even your tiniest works of art!
